A Very Royal Anniversary For Motability With Reception At Windsor Castle
Queen Elizabeth II helped one of her patronages celebrate its fortieth anniversary on Tuesday with a reception hosted at Windsor Castle.
Motability, an organisation that provides grants to disabled individuals to assist them in leasing or purchasing a disability-adapted vehicle, was formed in 1977, and the Queen has been its patron since.
The Queen met with Motability volunteers and people who have received assistance from the organisation over the years. She also presented a number of vehicles to their new owners.
