Queen Sofia Presents Trophies at Mutua Madrid Open 2015

Queen Sofia delivered the winners’ trophies at the Mutua Madrid Open 2015 men’s final today.

Scotsman Andy Murray defeated local champion Rafael Nadal in the final, the Spaniard going down 6-3, 6-2 in just under ninety minutes.

The Queen sat in the audience for the match with Spain’s Minister for Education, Culture and Sports, José Ignacio Wert, and the director of the Open, Manuel Santana. Afterwards, she presented Murray and Nadal with their trophies.
