Birth of Princess Katharina of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha

On 30 April, Hereditary Prince Hubertus and Hereditary Princess Kelly of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha welcomed their first child, a girl, Princess Katharina of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.

The little Princess’s full name is Katharina Victoria Elizabeth Cheryl. She is the first daughter and child of Prince Hubertus and Princess Kelly, as well as the first grandchild of Andreas, Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and his wife, Carin.

The then Kelly Jeanne Rondestvedt married Hubertus, Hereditary Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha in 2009. Their civil ceremony took place on 21 May in Coburg, which was then followed by a religious ceremony that took place on 23 May in the same year. Both ceremonies took place at Schloss Callenberg.
