Swedish Royal Family Host Official Dinner

On Thursday 24th, February the King and Queen hosted an official dinner at the Royal Palace.

Invited were representatives of the diplomatic corps, parliament, government, departments and authorities, Swedish science, culture, sports and Swedish businesses. Approximately 150 guests were received and welcomed by the King, Queen, Crown Princess and Prince Daniel in the White Sea. The dinner took place in Karl XI’s gallery.

The King accompanied the President’s wife, psychiatrist Ylwa Westerberg, to the table. On his left was New Zealand’s Ambassador Ms. Barbara Bridge. The Queen was brought to the table of the Speaker Per Westerberg, and had on his right side El Salvador’s ambassador Mr. Martin Rivera Gómez. The Crown Princess was brought to the table of El Salvador’s ambassador Mr. Martin Rivera Gómez. On her right was Mr. José A. Estévez Tavares, husband of the Dominican Republic’s ambassador Mrs. Marina I. Cacéres de Estévez. Prince Daniel took the United Arab Emirates Ambassador Sheikha Najla Al Qassimi to the table. On his left was the speaker’s wife, psychiatrist Ylwa Westerberg.
