Svensk Damtidning thinks that when the family has a new puppy Rio, maybe Daniel was taking care of it and stayed at home when Victoria and the children visited the bees and sheep.

Prince Oscar de Suède, sa halte très câline auprès des moutons
Shy? Not at all! Prince Oscar is the coolest prince in the pasture - and completely fearless for the sheep.
What a little animal lover he is, Prince Oscar! And what a happiness for a four-year-old to have his own lambs hug outside the knot.
The new pictures from the sheep garden at Haga are truly wonderful and Prince Oscar was completely fearless. It is noticed that he and the sheep have been friends for a long time, and that they like each other very much.
Prince Oscar leaned carefree towards the sheep mother and she remained friendly. And next to it stood Mom Crown Princess Victoria, looking happy.
- They seem to be very friendly, these sheep, they butted happily at Prince Oscar and were not shy at all, says TT's photographer Jonas Ekströmer who was on the scene this fine May evening at Haga.
The Crown Princess family has been proud sheep owners for many years by this time, and Prince Oscar and his big sister Princess Estelle have grown up with this baaing gang in the pasture.
- Right now there are 4 ewes and 9 lambs in the sheep garden at Haga, they are very affectionate and very much appreciated by the Crown Princess family, says Johan Tegel at the court's information department.
- The sheep came in early May and stay all summer. They are from the same breeder in the Örebro area as "the King's sheep" at Djurgården, and they enjoy the protected pasture with the fine grass.
That the sheep come is obviously a highlight for Estelle and Oscar. Now the herd has been in their large pasture for a few weeks, and they are also next door to the royal bees in their sunny yellow beehives. However, the bees and the sheep are friends, no crashes there.
