You could almost call it Crown Princess Victoria's secret life: that everyday life that is actually not so different from yours and mine.
That was the case, for example, on Wednesday night when Victoria suddenly appeared in a neighborhood restaurant that only has a tray service. And it was she who went around and asked everyone in the group what they wanted, before she stood at the bar and made the orders for the whole gang: Six children, six mothers and the nanny.
And earlier this year we saw her regularly at Stockholm City Mission and their meeting point St Paul on Södermalm. There she packed food packages for the elderly and vulnerable who could not get out due to the corona crisis.
When Princess Estelle went to preschool, Victoria was also a very committed mother, and it was required because the preschool was run as a parent cooperative. So when it was cleaning days, Sweden's Crown Princess stood there in the courtyard raking leaves.
And if you were to meet Victoria, Daniel, Estelle, Oscar and the dog Rio out in the woods, you would quickly see that this is a skogsmulle family that likes barbecue sausages and is generally super common.
But maybe it's the case that if you live in 42 rooms and a kitchen and have a household, that is, staff who make sure that the home is orderly and that the day-to-day management flows on - well then maybe it's luxury to be able to do a little yourself?
