According to Jordanian News agencies Sharif Nasser bin Abdelmajeed Alluhaimaq, the father of Prince Nayef fiance (Sharifa Farah) died yesterday of Covid-19. His family is also infected with the virus.

The family of the late Sharif published an official obituary in the local newspapers, in which they stated that there is no funeral ceremony due to the current circumstances and to ensure the safety of everyone in compliance with government decisions. The burial will take place at the royal cemetery on Friday. Condolences are accepted by phone, mail and social media.

Prince Nayef bin Asem of Jordan (b.22 January 1998) [youngest of six children and only son of Prince Asem bin Nayef of Jordan (b.1948) & third child by his current wife Sana, nee Khalimat (b.1960)] married Sharifa Farah bint Nasser Alluhaymaq on 12 April.

Nayef is last of the siblings who marries.
