Now I see why Queen Beatrix did not made Stéphanie a Dame Ordre du Lion d'Or de la Maison de Nassau: her State Visit was in March 2012 and Stéphanie married in October 2012. The then Stéphanie comtesse de Lannoy did not take part in this State Visit. That will be the explanation.

But when King Willem-Alexander visited Luxembourg, he did not create Stéphanie in the shared Nassau Order either. Instead she became a Dame Grand-Cross in the Order of Orange-Nassau, see picture: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dd5n0DbUwAAve9f.jpg
 
Hed Grand Duchess Stephanie wore as tiara a necklace belonging to the late Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte. Well done !

Yes I agree Tilla C but thankfully we have the New Years Reception and its a white tie/Tiara gala.

Though no official statement will state that events are cancelled or postponed due to the risks of Coronavirus, Luxembourg's Royals have pulled out of some scheduled appointments this week.

In the case of the Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume's scheduled appearance at the 50th Anniversary of "Clearstream Banking Luxembourg" gala being cancelled, this can be related to the COVID-19 protocals in place.

This coming Friday (13 March) was earmarked for an audience with Madame Maria Teresa Fernández de la Vega, President of the Spanish Council of State at the Palace, as Grand Duke Henri was to open the doors to the Palace. Due to the current coronavirus situation, this visit has been put on hold.

A visit by Andorra's Prime Minister, Xavier Espot Zamora, on Monday 16 March looked set to go ahead early on Tuesday - but has subsequently been postponed. Grand Duke Henri was scheduled to meet the travelling party at the Royal Palace.

Good to see that the HGD took the time to attend his cousin's ceremony. And nice to see Paul-Louis' father prince Guillaume and his middle brother prince Léopold as well.
 
Grand Duke Henri and the Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume received the “Sandhurst Medal” during an audience of a delegation from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland represented by HE Mr. John Marshall, Ambassador in Luxembourg.
Established in 2016, the "Sandhurst Medal" recognizes international students who have completed officer training at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, Great Britain. In 1975, the Grand Duke became an officer while HGD Guillaume has been since 2002

Why didn't Sébastien get a Sandhurst Medal? He also completed his training at Sandhurst...

Was GD Jean's 95th birthday the final festive time that the whole family got together? Wort has a helpful overview of all his children and grandchildren (mostly photographed per family).

Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa received the Grand Ducal Family at Colmar-Berg Castle to celebrate Grand Duke Jean who would have turned 100 this year.

On this occasion the Luxembourg Soloists gave a Gala concert at the Luxembourg Philharmonic in the presence of many members of the Family.

Princess Annunziata of Liechtenstein also attended without her new husbamd.
 
I expected more members of the GD family there. Perhaps the Covid restrictions are re-instated in Luxembourg? The Grand Duchess still seems to be social distancing from Luxembourg as she is not present either.

I'm perplexed by her book - a book for charity I get but a book about your love for your husband for charity seems IMO bizarre.

Do they have a place they go for Christmas? they always seem to be in a chalet of some kind so I wonder if they own one or just rent one.
