Info by John Del Signore about the New Amsterdam Pavillion "a permanent gift from the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the people of New York."
It will be officially inaugurated by WA and Maxima today.

Thank you, Lucien! I have to say that I have been very impressed with the Prince and Princess of Orange during this New York event. Their speeches and interviews have demonstrated that they are incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Dutch-American relationships. They have been very warm and friendly with their American hosts and with interviewers. This is clearly not just another photo op for them. They are genuinely happy to be in NYC. Do you know if Maxima plans to visit with any of her friends and former colleagues that she knew during the time she lived in New York?

That is kept a secret by the couple,but you can be sure they have already met a few over the last weekend,sunday and monday.
When asked what are their favorite spots they laughed and avoided an answer as to prevent being followed going there.

The pictures from day 2 are really nice, Maxima seems to be having fun with the bbq people.
She looked quite elegent in the white, loved the hair do.

She is planting bulbs that they brought as gifts - no BBQ in sight.
 
aww Maxima won't be attending any shows during fashion week... If there's
one show I'd recommend to her it would be Lela Rose. She dresses the Bush daughters and her clothes would looks great on Maxima

Both the Prince as well as the Princess have meetings & talks at the UN today on watermanagement and micro-finance.

This evening TRH will visit the "Vermeer" exhibition at the Metropolitan and have dinner at the New York Stock Exchange.

last night's black dress was really unflattering. can't say i liked the spider or the hose either.
 
This has been so fun to watch them in New York, I wish I were there. The princess has looked sensational IMO, like a 'Queen'!!

Today, 9-11, a day impregnated in all our minds,thoughts,feelings,emotions,will see TRH at the commemoration at Zucotti Park
from 08.30AM till 09.30 AM local time.

At 10.30AM TRH will attend the service of Remembrance at the Collegiate West End Church.

The Princess,who worked as a banker in NYC before she met Alexander,has lost several friends and many collegues in this unspeakeble disaster.To commemorate the terrorist attack there today herself is of significant meaning to her especially.
