This Brad Pitt story has taken on a life of it's own. There was a report about it on the Spanish language newscast Telemundo here in Southern Calif last night.
I have a couple of theories about how the Brad/Charlotte rumor got started. Brad has been in a tit-for-tat feud with Angelina Jolie. There have been stories in the press about her dating some billionaire British philanthropist. So how to top that? Someone from Brad's camp planted the story about Charlotte after realizing that they were both at the LACMA event. In fact a "source" was quoted as saying that Charlotte " looks like a younger Angelina only more beautiful than Angie ever was". Ouch! Take that AJ!
Another story making the rounds is that Brad saw Charlotte at the LACMA gala and was introduced to her. He didn't make a move on her-she was there with Dimitri after all-but he has been "obsessed" with her ever since, raving about her beauty and her resemblance to his ex.
And that's how it all became the Romance of the Ages. See how it works in Hollywood? I mean can't you just picture Maddox and Shiloh cavorting on the Pacha III during their summer holidays in Monaco with their new step mom?
No matter who started it, I would advise them all to cool it toot sweet. One thing the Grimaldis of Monaco are not shy about is suing people when they cross a line.
ETA: You are exactly right tatianacressida. Princess Caroline of Hanover's eldest daughter is so far out of Brad's league it's fascinating to think about. He would have been punching above his weight even during his hunk heyday, but now?!
I would pay $$ to see Charlotte's face when she hears about this one, not to mention Dimitri's!

Wow yeah that makes sense in light of the games these people play. The Grimaldis would either die or try to use it in some way, channel it to highlight something maybe? They can play better than anyone in Hollywood!

Hahaha... Maybe the rumour started because in her prime Angelina resembled Charlotte...

Big lipsss... Big, big lipsss...
I remember reading something even more random... In 2009 or 2010. One of the forum members here suggested that Charlotte will be perfect with Sean Lennon...

Angelina was a beauty, but for sheer gorgeousness she could not hold a candle to Charlotte at the same age. Charlotte looks like an oil painting in that photo...simply exquisite. That ivory chenille Chanel suit sheer wore to Albert's Installation Mass in 2005 is one of her all time best looks.
They both had/have very full lips and almond shaped eyes.

Charlotte was so sweet at the palace when the family did the pictures before the window appearance. That was the first time for me to see her live in action in live stream. She was so shy and innocent.

Well, of course, Charlotte has always been much more attractive than Angelina. I agree.

Oh, I saw her for the first time in January 2006. I thought that she was so beautiful.
Since then... I have to admit that I have seen women much more beautiful than her...

I guarantee that there will be no statement from the Palais and definitely not from Charlotte. She never even announced her pregnancy with Raphael, preferring to let the photos speak for themselves. It's how she always operates. Never complain, and especially never explain.
IF however the mainstream news outlets start making mischief with this nonsense, I can see Albert's or Caroline's attorneys making a discreet cease and desist phone call. Enough is enough.
Unfortunately, if for some reason Dimitri is not in Monaco this weekend for National Day the rumor mill will go into overdrive reporting a rift between he and Charlotte over her " flirtation" with Brad Pitt.
Just wait and see!

News, especially the trashy ones go very fast. I heard this morning in the Greek radio about the new love of Brad Pitt with Princess of Monaco....

Even The Sun is reporting on this garbage!

My question is how long will the Palais Princier remain silent now that this story has gone global, or will they be content to let Dimitri Rassam's presence in the Principality this weekend speak for itself?
I am 99% certain he will make an appearance.

It would be nice if Dimitri did make an appearance but I shan't be surprised if he doesn't. He has no official role at this point.

True but Gad Elmaleh never had an official role either besides being Raphael's father.
And yet, Gad not only went to the Palace for the official presentation of the twins in January 2014, he briefly went to a window of the Palace with Charlotte to peek at the crowds below.
Beatrice Borromeo attended the Te Deum for a couple of years before she and Pierre were even engaged.
If nothing else, I hope that Dimitri will be there to escort Charlotte to the evening Gala. I am always so sad seeing photos of her dancing alone or with one of her brothers!
I don't expect Dimitri to appear at the Palace windows or at the Te Deum.

I was very surprised!

Yes, but I think that's more official than Dimitri is at the moment - he had more of a role as Raphaël's Dad and had been on the scene for longer. Not that I'm doubting the seriousness of their relationship but at the moment it's no more "official" than the ones with Felix, Alex and Lamberto. But it would be lovely if he were there - he certainly seems integrated into the family.

I think it's really beautiful that Gad was able to appear for being Raphael's father. I remember an instagram post of Gad, showing Monaco at sunset: he said he just arrived and was there to spend time with his family. It was after the breakup. I love that he's treated as family. i think that will mean so much to Raphael in the coming years.

To be able to go out without any makeup whatsoever and still look so beautiful. How liberating that must be.
And how envious I am!

She knows how to blend into the LA scenery. Look at her rocking the Birkenstocks.

I lived in WeHo for 12 years. Charlotte and Dimitri are dressed exactly the way people dress there. They blend in effortlessly, you are right.
I wonder where they went to eat? There are some great little restaurants in West Hollywood.

I'm from Burbank originally. Went to Burbank high. Weho is great too. I loved the Buddha belly for lunch (in weho) but that's probably not chic enough chic enough for them.

Charlotte looks lovely and she and Dimitri are a good looking couple - of course, what matters more is that they are good matches for one another too and they do seem to get on very well with one another. We can forget about those rumours about Charlotte and Brad Pitt Probably just the rag trade still being sad over their separation.
