Some article was reporting her dress/coat as being by Jigsaw. She must really like them, I've never heard of them!

New wedding attire for Kate, I have to say this is not the best she's looked. I do like the coat/dress thing, it's okay but I think she could have done a lot better, like a dress from one of my favorite designers, Tracy Reese. tracyreese.com And that head piece is just a disaster.

Here's Kate: http://s2.supload.com/image.php?get=22-20060506172210.jpg

Actually I think that is the best she's looked till now. Remember the outfit from the previous wedding ? Imo, this outfit is a lot more elegant. The color suits her well and the shoes are nice. I also like what she wears underneath the coat. You can see it here. But I agree on the headpiece, I wouldn't wear that myself. :)

She always dresses so good ! shes got great style :)

I generally agree except for the hat situation. First we had the huge fur/not fur semi-disaster and now at Laura Parker Bowles wedding there is the bird that died on the side of her head...but generally I think she wears classy, well fit pieces of clothing, she just has headwear difficulties;)

I think overall she has a very good sense of fashion and dress very well. Should she marry William, the British royal family will gain a new asset and she'll set the pace in fashion.

Although i hope the recurrance of what happen to Diana won't repeat itself with Kate!

Recently i came across a magazine article in one of those gossip magazine and it mentioned comparing Kate and Chelsea as the new Diana and Fergie! How sick is that!!!

In hommage to Diana it would be nice for Kate to wear a few designs from Catherine Walker.

^ she did when she attended the horse racing...

I've seen lookalike Lola Rose necklaces everywhere, you can get them in Accessorise, Topshop, Next etc. and they're usually a fraction of the price.

These are FashionSpot.com attachments. The original sources are Polfoto and a scanned pic (scanned by a FashionSpot member)

Just noticed that the tan bag that she wears all the time and the black one that she has been photographed with a couple of times are the same desisgn. And I think that she has a few other things which are the same but different colours (like her boots and jeans), she obviously is one of those people who finds a design she likes and sticks with it!

Isn't pashmina just a specific type of cashmere? Pashmina is a material specifically from India I think, which is cashmere but a very specific type. Is that right?

As far as I can remember I've seen two pics of her in pashminas, one jade and one soft pink (there are pictures at www.wireimage.com you just have to put Kate Middleton in search and they are on the 1st page towards the bottom). The jade one could be lambs wool, and the soft pink one could either be silk or cotton, at least that's how they look to me.
Hope that helps!:)

Pashmina is different to cashmere, it's better quality wool and is found in plenty of places besides India, Pakistan being one example. The wool comes from a goat found in the Himalayas. It's incredibly rare and quite expensive but absolutely beautiful to touch and much softer than cashmere.

Cashmere wool comes specifically from the Kashmir goat, hence the name.

That dress are in wonderful color. Idea is lovely. But I dont like her black purse and black shoes. it wants something more original.

as far as I know, pashmina is a mixture of cashmere and silk in a special relation. I don't know the exact relation, I think I've heard it was 60/40 or 70/30(probably more cashmere). I've got an "original" pashmina with 90/10 but considering the price it can't be original.

That was probably the dress she was searching for when they printed those pictures a while back when Wills was at Sandhurst. I think they said he was going to purpose and she needed a gown or something like that. This dress looks similair to what she was trying on tight, the criss cross ribbon on the front part of the dress. I believe it was a red gown and white gown in the picture it might have been from Point Devue?. I can't find the article with the pic in it maybe someone can locate and post it?:)

I think the blue dress is gorgeous! It looks great on her. IMO, the black shoes and bag balanced out the vibrant blue color of the dress.

Thank you so much Socal Girl that was the one I was looking for!! Thanks again! And yes I do like how the model is wearing the dress better but Kate looked very nice in it too.:)

The green dress outfit looks very 'Jigsaw'...and probably is.

I don't if anyone has mentioned this before. But http://www.rexfeatures.com/ (sorry I don't have an account) has more pictures of Kate in the pretty green dress. It also has pictures of the shops Kate visited that day... including tm lewin (shirtmakers), blue velvet (vintage clothes), lk bennett, peter jones, richard ward (hairdresses) and the various cafes she goes to.

it's funny that people refer to "kate's designers". i don't think anyone is designing for her(correct me i'm wrong) unless it's someone completely unknown but i think it's safer to say that she's buying her clothes off the rack. however, she does have amazing style.
