Is the Queen already in Guatemala?
Are there photographies of the departure and of the arrival of the Queen?
And about the prizes Prince of Asturias .... do they know if the Queen is going to assist the ceremony?

Queen Sofia has always attended them, so we can well expect her in Oviedo.

The Queen of Spain visits the zones affected by the 'Stan'

The queen dona Sofía accompanied of the secretary of State of International Cooperation, Leire Pajín, landed yesterday in the airport of of the Air Guatemalan Force, where it was got by the ambassador of Spain in Guatemala, Juan Lopez-Dóriga. The Queen will visit the communities indigenous to San Marcos, Ocós and Panajachel affected by the tropical storm 'Stan'.

Perhaps what I like the most about Queen Sofia is that she seems really approachable and she doesn't spend all the time behind the walls of her palace, but instead she is interested in the reality of the world, as dramatic or dreadful it may be, and she goes there to comfort the suffering people.

As a Queen, She could create her own secluded world, where everthing is beautiful and luxurious, but we know that it is not the reality of the world. She is very down to Earth and actually tries to do something in order to make people's life easier, even if her contribution is little, She does her best effort to make a difference in the world.

I hope that Her trip to Central America brings some relief and happiness to our brothers and sisters in those devastated areas.
