The president of Lithuania, Valdas Adamkus, will make a State visit to Spain, between June 6th and 8th, during which he will meet the King and analyze with Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero the EU’s future distribution of bottoms.

KJC and QS, next to the president of Lithuania, Valdas Adamkus, and his wife attended a concert performed by a Lithuanian quartet, at the beginning of the reception offered to the Spanish Royals, at the Palace of El Pardo (the official residence of foreign heads of state, when viviting Spain).

Does anyone know who the woman (in the navy or black outfit) is in the picture above standing next Her Majesty? I have seen her in several photographs and wonder what her relation is to Queen Sofia. Is she a lady in waiting or something of that nature?
