I think she found the ultimate dress (hair too). I think she knows she looks good, too, you can see it in her face.

Thanks, Fanletizia! :)
I'm starting to believe that she's reading our comments here... another new hairstyle...
(By the way, this Chanel coat is the same she wore at the wedding of Beltrán and Laura: http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...chmentid=94855 )

To me, she is the most elegant woman in Europe. Where she has such a lot money to buy these clothes?

Infanta Elena has become the self image of style and fashion, being, without any doubt, the most elegant of all the European princesses.
Last Tuesday night, she attended in Madrid the Telva Fashion Awards, which distinguish, year after year, the best Spanish and foreign designers. This year, the awards were given to the Dutch Victor and Rof and the Spanish Roberto Torreta.
Doña Elena appeared dressed in an impressive pink dress, made by Christian Lacroix, one of her favourite designers. The decollete and the hairdo gave Doña Elena a sophisticated image somehow resembled to the empress Sissi, which made her queen of the party, followed, at a long distance, by other guests, among them some of the usually considered as the official beauties.

That is an exageration, she is not the most elegant princess in Europe. I don't know why spanish magazines insist in giving the infantas that kind of credit.

It's their opinion, which is as much entitled or exagerated as any others stated by magazines from other countries, saying the same things about their own princesses...

Inganta Elena has found a style that looks good on her and that she appears to be very comfortable with. A critical component of looking elegant comes from looking effortlessly at home in whatever one is wearing and Elena does that. Even the most excuisite outfit can not make a women elegant by itself, it only lends an air of "dress-up".

Karmele Marchante, a spanish journalist and tv presenter write in her web about Don Jaime de Marichalar.
Since I thought this article is much different from what I have seen writen about Don Jaime early even by the same Karmele I thought it would be interesting to post her (new) opinion here::)
"The other day I had occasion, through the act of presentation of a book in the Winthertur Foundation, to chat a little while with Don Jaime de Marichalar.
At short distance he tremendously seemed to me a good natured and warm person. Very educated, of course. And also very real, in the sense to have the feet in the ground.
Jaime de Marichalar is aware of everything that is said or rumored about him, of his clothes, of his goings and comings, his work in the surroundings of a multinational of the fashion, among other things.
And, mainly, of which people have created with what they see, his mediatic personage. That personaje, indeed, is the one that worse takes.
He feels mistreated by media and badly understood by some colleagues of mine. He told me of his contentious with Paloma Barrientos, and also his grief to have directed to her with the accusing finger, instead of doing it with a good phrase.
There are many times that we see Don Jaime alone, without the infanta, as much in social events as some official act. And the press has speculated about a distance in their marriage. Nothing else far from the reality. Most of those occasions had to do with indisposiciones of his wife or acts in which they distribute his presence. Don Jaime has still not recovered absolutely from his attack and sequels and cannot, physically speaking, to be standing many hours or to make efforts that would pass invoice on him. He had amused phrases for which one murmurs about his attire, the famous parapecios, of the history of patinete and similar anecdotes, but he gets very serious when he finds out that they want to attribute histories to him that nothing they have to do with the reality. "To me nobody gives a dime, I gain everything". I liked much to interchange opinions and to approach me a person who was to me comfortable and stimulating."
