Oh goodness gracious me, what's Mary wearing?! Maybe she's having "baby stress nerves" or something, affecting her mind from thinking clearly on things like clothes.... Oh well, at least it was a nice day and a good visit - and a happy couple. That's the most important thing after all.

I must be the minority here, but I thought the coat was simply fantastic. Maybe it looks a little out of place since it's so close to summer and the colors are better suited for winter. I love that coat!

The coat is not my cup of tea. The blue color patches just look ugly.

Actually I think this was a suit. It's most definitely a two piece outfit. Corbis has the best picture I've found where you can actually tell that there is a skirt (or dress) and then cropped jacket....so this isn't an over coat, it's a "suit"....

from hellomagazine.com
Denmark's Crown Princess Mary could scarcely have received a warmer welcome when she stepped out with her husband on Thursday afternoon. The pretty royal was greeted by a huge crowd of well-wishers as she made her first public appearance since the news of her pregnancy was announced.
Just two weeks ago the couple delighted the people of Denmark by confirming they will have a new prince or princess come October. And the mum-to-be, who was sporting a blue suit with cropped jacket and an elegant purple hat, was congratulated by scores of her subjects when she attended the opening of a new entertainment park in Copenhagen. Indeed the 33-year-old had her work cut out just to hold onto all the bunches of flowers that came her way.
When the baby arrives, he or she will be born into a newly refurbished palace, as Amalienborg has undergone a major renovation. The extent of the makeover was detailed in an annual financial report published by the royal household. Europe's oldest monarchy overran its budget by nearly £2 million last year, mostly due to Frederik and Mary's lavish wedding last May and the cost of preparing their new home. The expense shouldn't prove to be too much of a problem, though, because the family's overall worth is well over £1 billion.

You can see from this picture that it's a crop jacket and dress underneath.
Though she looks stunning and there's the wonderful glow about her, i don't care much for her outfit!
But what's really cute is you can see frm this pic a little bump in her tummy!!!

Definately not my favorite combinations of outfits from Mary. Wonderful pieces seperately, but in this case, I thought that too much of the same pattern clashed a bit. I can't quite picture a glow, because she seems to be carrying one all the time, even prior to falling pregnant, but maybe that's just me!

Yes, they were opening Denmark's first "experience park", where you learn by actions :)

NO, that is not correct. They are not a very rich family. They have some minor property in Denmark and France. Their private econemy is not for public view, but they are not expected to be very rich. The danish media also have come to that conclusion the times they have tried to figure it out.
