Really nice pics! Thanks for posting everyone! It was a great day it seems. Hope the King's 58th year is filled with prosperity, love, and good health.

Thanks to all, who have posted pictures! :flower:
Madeleine has/had always very cute/young and "fresh"-looking facial features (the lips, the form/shape of the face, the colour of the eyes), but when I look at her skin (in these pictures, esp. the closeups) then I see the skin of a much older woman than one of 21...she should really stop this tanning!

I really liked Madeleines jacket, it had a nice cut. But she looked a little bit sad...

I definitely agree that she is looking sad in these pictures. In one of the pictures of the siblings, it looks like Victoria is trying to cheer Madeleine up, but it doesn't seem to be working. I feel bad for her.

The earrings look nice...these long earrings fit to her. But I´ve to admit that the first thing, which I spotted, was the gel-fixed ponytail. Gah...I should try to be more positive!

I'm happy to say: I WAS THERE!!!!!
And despite the two hours standing, the fact I couldn't see that much bc of this taller ppl on my front, I enjoyed it very much.:)
Interesting that has been posted that Madeleine looked tired, when I look at the pics I agree, and being there I had the impression she wasn’t much into it...
I thought all the family would be going down and not just waving from the balcony, but one can't ask for that much :P The other think I didn't like that much was the times nothing was happening...and everyone was waiting for the schedule time for something to happen.
There were two older ladies just next to me that complained it used to be nicer. 50 years ago was much better and that even last year it was better...Anyone has been there before that could tell me if this is true?

Yeah. Tired. I looked at more of the photos and I thought she looked bored as well. Too bad about the taller people. That often happens. But it is great that you were able to go.

Princess Madeleine looks so much prettier without that heavy tan that she had for most of last year.

What a difference! Look at the pictures of today's celebrations in Sweden, then take a look at the celebrations in the Netherlands!! Everyone in Sweden looked so serious- beautiful- but serious. Maybe the King should invite Princess Maxima to his party next year- I'm sure she'd liven things up a bit!!! :punk:

This is true. She would. However, the Swedes, relatively speaking, let their guards down more on the National Day. But generally, you are right.

Birthday
Yes and we are only one year away from the King celebrating his 60th Birthday! I bet there will be quite big celebrations next year to mark his 60th. :)
