Day 14

Their Majestys will begin the day of day 14 in Ontinyent, with a visit to their City council, to the historical helmet, and the Manterol company, in the morning to conclude the activities with a lunch with representatives of this region in the Kazar Hotel.
In the evening they will be transferred to Albaida, where they will visit his City council, the Church Arciprestal, the Real Chapel, the Segrelles Museum and the one of Puppets.

Day 15

In the morning they will receive in hearing to the components of the Partnership Glass America 2007 in the Meliá Hotel of Valencia, and later they will inaugurate the seat of the Association of Investigation of the Agro-alimentary Industry (AINIA) in the Technological Complex of Paternal. Next, and from the balcony of the City council of Valencia,
Their Majestys will attend the Mascletá, soon to share a private lunch offered by the City council of this city.
During the presentation of the activities the Foundation "Sea without Barriers" in the Museum of Sciences Prince Felipe, who will take place in the evening, where will receive explanations on the School of adapted candle, the Club of Diving, the School Factory and the projects of the Valencian Community and the City council of the city.

Day 16

The day 16 will begin with flying over on works of the Port of Valencia, later to move to the population of Requena, where they will visit his City council, the historical helmet and the School of Enología and Viticultura. The City council, the Arciprestal Church and the seat of the Regulating Council of the Denomination of Utiel-Requena Origin will be the places that will visit in Utiel. Later, they will eat for lunch with representatives of the region of Utiel-Requena in the seat of the Cooperative of Utiel, thus finalizing their visit of three days of duration.

Kings will visit this week the Valencia of the interior

The Kings will visit this week Ontinyent, Albaida, Requena and Utiel, four localities of the interior of the province of Valencia, an official trip of three days of duration that will allow them to know its economic, social and cultural reality by mouth of its inhabitants and political representatives.
A trip that Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía will take advantage of to share with the city of Valencia hours of celebration, since they will attend Wednesday at noon, from the main balcony of its City council, to a ' previous mascleta '' to the great day of the Faults that are the 19 of March.

The Kings arrived this morning at Ontinyent, where they have initiated an official visit of three days from duration to the province of Valencia, and that will also take to the capital, Albaida, Utiel and Requena.

To 12 of the noon the president of the Generalitat, Francisco Camps, received to the Kings in the door of the City council of Ontinyent, where hundreds of people applauded their presence. The bells of the church of Santa Maria repicaron at the moment that the Kings left to salute to the main balcony of the consistorial house. The mayor of Ontinyent, the Socialist Manuel Reguart, and the delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Antonio Bernabé, completed the institutional delegation that gave the welcome to the Kings to its arrival to this locality, located in the region of the d'Albaida Vall.

Queen Sofia, with suit of jacket with white skirt and black rays, and the King, with dark suit and necktie orange, initiated their first day of stay in the Community with a visit to the City council of Ontinyent where they left to the balcony to greet the congregated population.
After signing in the Gold book of the city they left of consistorio to visit vila and in concrete the old district of the population where they could greet 24 children who represented comparsas of Moors and existing Christians in the locality.

The Kings, thirty years later

In the beginning, in the Seventies, Don Juan Carlos spoke of the Kingdom when it wanted to name what today we called Valencian Community. Kingdom of Valencia was and is normal that a monarch uses the title that shows to name this corner of Spain. Perhaps after that name I discover an interesting small oral tradition that it took to the Prince to use the listened to word from in family, inherited of the distant time of the grandparents.
At noon of today, in Ontinyent, an official trip from the Kings to the province of Valencia begins that is going away to prolong until afternoon of Thursday. Almost thirty years after that first trip of autumn of 1976, Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía, that has followed year after year the pulse of the spectacular change that has taken place in the Valencian Community, approach two regions nails, Ontinyent-Albaida and Utiel-Requena, in the course of a trip in which they are going to dedicate time, in addition, to live the celebration on the faults, to know AINIA, the America Glass and the changes had in the port.

The Kings today expressed their preoccupation by the consequences of the fire that this weekend burned 1,900 hectares of mount in the region of the Safor and emphasized the coordination of the different administrations in the extinction workings, as well as the work of professionals and volunteers. it was revealed in the spanish press that louis alfons and margarita will attend the fallas in valencia this year!
it says that margarita will wear a dress from the xvii century that costs about 20000 euros.
