Carlo Felix (Italian: Carlo Felice Giuseppe Maria; 6 April 1765 – 27 April 1831) was the King of Sardinia and ruler of the Savoyard states from 12 March 1821 until his death in 1831. He was the last male-line member of the House of Savoy that started with Victor Amadeus I of Savoy, and caused the line of Victor Amadeus I's younger brother Thomas Francis, Prince of Carignano to seize the throne after Felix's death.

Excuse my ignorance, but how was he Duke of Genoa before being Duke of Savoy and King of Sardinia? Didn't the title of Duke of Genoa belong to King Victor Emmanuel I? Or was it used by courtesy (as a subsidiary title of the King of Sardinia) by Charles Felix as the heir presumptive?

Also, I think the dates are wrong. Charles Felix must have been Duke of Genoa from1815, when the Duchy was created and incorporated into the Sardinia-Piemondt state by the Congress of Vienna, rather than 1715. In fact, Charles Felix was only born in 1765, so he couldn't have been Duke of Genoa since 1715!
