Grand Duchess Maria Teresa is visiting Lebanon October 29-31 in her role as president of her foundation and ambassador to UNESCO and UNICEF. She will meet refugees and victims of sexual violence and visit a refugee camp, hospital and a safe house. The Grand Duchess will also learn about microfinance projects aiming to help the refugees and NGOs she intends to support in the future through her foundation.

The visit is also in preparation for the forum "Stand Speak Rise Up - To put an end to the sexual violence in the sensitive zones" planned for March 2019 in Luxembourg.

I also saw it on TV. There were many important heads of state, such as the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, the King of Spain, Donald Trump, the crown prince of Morocco and I think the King of Morocco was also there. President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa from Portugal was also present.
It was a pity that King Willem-Alexander and the King of Belgium were not present.

It's a lovely site and I'm glad to see new official photos. I have mixed feelings about GD Maria Teresa needing her own website though. According to various reports, www.grande-duchesse.lu is launched ahead of her "Stand Speak Rise Up" forum next March but the forum has its own website www.standspeakrise.lu

Why is it necessary to separate Maria Teresa from the rest of the family? A special section for "Stand Speak Rise" could have been added to www.monarchie.lu instead. It's also redundant to update the Cour and Maria Teresa's website for her engagements. I'd rather see www.monarchie.lu get redesigned.
