There is no pretending whatsoever that she's not a princess. She will always be. That's her birthright. However, using that title for personal and business here and there most especially if it doesn't concern the royal family is a different thing.

I won't comment on how far she has gone on using her birthright title but the mere fact that the Norwegian Royal Court intervened, it's safe to say her using her princess title is out of decency and should be stopped.

As maria-olivia has pointed out; Tessy is the former wife of Prince Louis of Luxembourg but has been and is very vocal on her dislike at her treatment by the GDF on Instagram and loves to exploit her connection to her former princess title. For more detail, it's good to read this thread.

I hope it's not too late for her.

I think her thoughts as a child of having a totally different life is actually quite normal. I don't think there are many people that haven't experienced the "grass is greener on the other side of the fence" kind of thinking. It happens a lot of time when there is a crisis or a quick change of environment as we go down the road of life. I grew up in the era of people "finding themselves" through all different methods (I'm a hippie relic) and realized that no matter how old we get, we're always finding ourselves. I've taken a few weird roads myself and some were real eye openers. One cannot dismiss something that doesn't work for them unless they experience it in the first place and know it doesn't work.

Trial and error is the name of the game and by experiencing error, we know what doesn't work for us and we move on. Its the experience itself that is the best teacher. One thing I do know for sure is that no "outside" help or counseling is going to work unless the person being counseled is open to making changes and look at things differently. Its a case of you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink. It can't be forced.

I know this is already digressing to the topic but I remember the Princess gained the monicker "psychic" and "clairvoyant" by the international press since she declared that she can speak with angels, animals and even had a friendly relationship with a British paranormal expert who can talk to dead.

And now, she met this spiritual healer boyfriend and they're doing some business outside her royal but still using her "Princess" title.

Good thing the Norwegian Royal Court intervened at the right time. All is well. I hope she'll find happiness with this Shaman.

Osipi, I know somebody who unknowingly landed in scientology, while "experiencing alternative things". Because of this I learned a lot about mind control, brainwashing, hypnosis, narcissists, psychopaths etc and my point of view drastically changed.

It is a very sensible deal and should be agreed by other European royal families as well. I am thinking specifically of Prince Nikolai of Denmark for example, who has also used his title in his modeling career.
