10th Wedding Anniversary for Guillaume and Stéphanie

Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie celebrated today, October 20, their 10th wedding anniversary.
The engagement of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume to Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy was announced on April 26, 2012.
One day before the religious wedding the couple had their civil marriage in a ceremony held at the Luxembourg City Hall.
The religious ceremony took place in the Notre-Dame de Luxembourg Cathedral at the presence of family, friends, royal guests and authorities from home and abroad.
Following the religious ceremony the newlyweds appeared on the balcony of the Grand Ducal Palace.
Princess Stéphanie wore a custom wedding gown by Elie Saab. It was an ivory white lace gown made of different fabrics such as Chantilly lace, Calais lace, satin organza, tulle and silk crepe and embellished with pearls and transparent crystals, with boat neckline, three-quarter sleeves and 15 meters of silk tulle. The Princess wore a tiara owned by her family since 1878.
Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie have a son, Prince Charles (born in 2020) and they are expecting their second child next year.
To mark the couple’s tenth wedding anniversary the Grand Ducal Court released four portraits of Guillaume and Stéphanie.
