Jordan’s King Abdullah II Mourns His Late Primary School Teacher
His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan has expressed his deepest sadness over the passing of his former Jordanian teacher, Mrs. Omayma Arafat Rifai, who died earlier last month.
The King published an impressive tweet on his official account on Sunday describing his late beloved teacher as the “mentor of generations, who graduated thousands of sons and daughters of the homeland”. His Majesty added that she had never hesitated to carry the message of education with all sincerity.
The late Mrs. Rifai was the director of kindergarten department at the Islamic Educational College in Amman during the sixties. She taught both King Abdullah II and his younger brother, Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, during their primary studies at the college.

May the deceased, Mrs. Omayma Arafat Rifai, get the most glorious place in Heaven of His Kingdom, amen
Even kings have a first childhood teacher whom they revere. It is very considerate of His Majesty to express gratitude to the memory of his beloved teacher.
