Queen Maxima Attends the Leerorkest Anniversary Concert

Queen Maxima attended the ten year anniversary of the Leerorkest (Learing-orchestra) in Amsterdam.

The concert consisted of 1088 primary school children, the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra, singers from the National Opera and soloists.

Queen Maxima is the honorary chairman of “More Music in the Classroom” which supports the Leerorkest. Leerorkest aim is to teach students at school during schoolhours to play an instrument in a symphony way. It’s a way to encourage them to use a musical instrument.
