For a meeting and the presentation of the Queen Letizia 2018 Awards today, July 9, Queen Letizia wore a pink Carolina Herrera dress again:

This is one of those CHs that I don't enjoy so much...

I love this dress, but I'm not sure it suits her that much. This could be a dress that Leonor or Sofia could wear when they become young adults. But, I dislike the plastic shoes...

Beautiful shade of pink. It’s a nice summer dress.

Queen Letizia looks really pretty in pink however the plastic shoes are not at all nice.

Nice outfit. Love her striped skirt.

This is a very elegant summer look, and I like her hair.

Not my favourite top, but the skirt is very nice. A-line is seldom wrong

I would love to wear this whole ensemble too. Nice one!

Nice elegant and slick look on queen Letizia today, perfect for warm summer weather.

Queen Letizia looked good in blue and white at a ceremony at the General Air Academy today, July 11:

Ithink the ensemble perfect for a summers day. However, having been in the military myself a find myself wanting to bang my head on a brick wall. This is a Military Review and it demands that a higher degree of formality of dressing is required and this is just too casual. It's not as if she doesn't have a closet full of appropriate clothes. But looking through Pinterest etc. it illustrates that sleeves make an amazing change in clothes be they short, elbow or full they change the entire dynamic

I agree that the outfit is nice but too casual for this event, but we've seen much worse in this respect so I won't complain!

It was 98F in Madrid yesterday. She looked fine.

I usually like a bateau neckline, but this one somehow fails to capture me... Not sure whether it's the curve, or the combination with the awkward-length sleeves. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

And the fabric looks like tweed? Can't be sure without better photos, though.

According to Hola, it's a new tweed dress from Zara, initial price at 50 euros, now on sale at 20 euros

I love how she can make an inexpensive dress look like it was custom made for her. I’m sure having it altered to be the perfect fit along with a good ironing helps, but it just shows you don’t have to spend a small fortune to look sharp, stylish and presentable. (Wish my teenage daughter could grasp this concept!)

The dress is okay. I find the off the shoulder look a bit odd for the fabric and the fabric to be a bit odd for the season. I guess when I think of tweed, I think wool and winter. The biggest problem for me is I hate the unfinished hem. The link below shows a perfect example of my main objection. The white thread hanging several inches below the rest of the hem makes it look sloppy.

Not mad about the neckline but other that that a lovely new dress on queen Letizia today.

I think the dress looks very inexpensive, but I do like the neckline. Her hair looks gorgeous.

YES! That white thread at the front bugs me too! My eyes just keep being drawn to it lol :bang:

Of course this happens a lot with Zara clothes but at least you can pick up a pair of scissors and fix it

I don't dislike the dress. But the fabric is a bit heavy for a supposed summer dress. I agree about the hem, but like @carina_a said, a pair of scissors would fix it immediately.

I also went to search the dress on Zara website and it is indeed 20€ now. They still had lots of sizes, but now that Letizia wore it today, it might go out of sale pretty soon. I was actually tempted to buy it (I must confess Letizia is the only royal that makes me want to buy clothes that my wallet can afford), but I ended up buying another Zara dress.

What can I say. The Queen doesn't disappoint really.
