Prince Jean Christophe Napoléon and Princess Olympia and Family

The first guests confirm his presence at the Wedding of Prince Jean-Christophe with Countess Olympia von Arco-Zinneberg on 19 October in Paris.

The Count and Countess of Paris!

The article also mentions that members of the houses of Habsburg-Lorraine, Murat, Bourbons-Deux-Siciles, Bourbon-Parme have been confirmed to attend the wedding which is no surprise given the couple's relationship with these families. To this we can of course add the Arco-Zinnebergs and the Belgian Habsburgs. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for us seeing both Alix de Napoléon and Margherita of Austria-Este although I know the chance of the latter attending is small.

Probably we will also see seomeone from Luxembourg as the Wedding of Countess Anna Thereisia of Arco-Zinneberg was attended by Grand Duchess Maria Teresa with several children.

The Thurn und Taxis were also there. Generally I expect all the usual Germans to show up.

It was in the neighbourship of Regensburg. So no surprise that they the thurn and Taxis attended. Let's see if they will also this time.

It seems that there will be a large number of royals from the non-reigning houses at the wedding.

Per Frédéric de Natal, a French journalist who specialises in royalty, Gloria of Thurn and Taxis is apparently attending a charity event at New York City with Luis Alfonso de Borbon.

Yes, thank you, I read that on Facebook after I had written my previous post. The comments on his post was a hilarious mess as usual. 150 years after Sedan and the monarchists are still fighting.

There are still her children. Don't remember now if Albert attended the Wedding last year but he has attended quiet a few.

I partied with Jean-Christophe last weekend in Moscow. Great guy, very down to earth. Wish him luck.

Is the Princess Napoleon in that photo?

Lovely photo - looks like Olympia and her family are having a very fun New Year's celebration!

Just wondering since the wedding of Prince Jean Christophe Napoleon and Css Olympia now Pss Napoleon, no news what so ever? not even a pregnancy. They seem to be a very private family. Oh well maybe in a few months we will get a nice surprise.

they married less than a year ago... hardly a lot of time to expect a pregancy, plus they are still young! they may wish to keep pursuing their careers before children.

this reminds me what a stunning bride Olympia was - her dress was gorgeous.

Coats. Jean-Christophe, Prince Napoleon and heir to the two French houses.

Descendant of Napoleon, like the Bourbons, Prince Jean-Christophe is a genetic synthesis of the French dynasties. But as head of the imperial house, he wears the only coat of arms desired by Napoleon I , the Roman eagle of the Caesars encroaching on lightning, an attribute of Jupiter.

The French Revolution for Equality and against Royalty and Nobility, that ended with an Emperor to rule 'em all...

And 200 years later this Emperor's rembering service is visited by nobles, which are his descendents...

Sounds all a bit paradox!

As for Napoleon I's direct descendants - were the representatives of Colonna-Walewski family present?

I didn't see one, but Count Banquet d'Orx was there. He's a descendant of Napoleon III.
A Count Colonna-Walewski was a guest at Jean-Christophe and Olympia's wedding.
