Leonor,Princess of Asturias wore her mothers Bulgari diamond and aquamarine earrings to the Princess of Asturias awards last Friday .
The earrings looked so pretty on Leonor.

Hopefully Leonor will get some jewel gifts for her 18th birthday next week.

Awww, and so it begins. Those Bulgari earrings were a gift to Letizia following Leonor's birth.

The Asturian jeweler Quirós has gifted something to the Princess, but it remains a secret what kind of piece it is.

The Spanish vaults are more than decent, but given how nicely Aquamarines look on Leonor, just imagine if they had Queen Ena's Aquamarine tiara, that would look STUNNING on Leonor.

I have to admit I was quite stunned to see Leonor wearing the earrings as they are such an almost discreet smack in the face and Leonor is wearing them with an elan not seen in her before. The colour of the aquamarines on her and the only question is, did her eyes bring out the colour in them or did the aquamarines bring out the colour of her eyes. Either way, she looks stunning, and it seems that "The Palace" is taking positive steps to ensure that the Princess of Asturias is both seen and doing them proud.

I know the earrings were a gift to Letizia to mark the birth of Leonor, but I cannot actually recall her wearing them any time in recent memory. Can anyone point me to photos of her wearing them on any public occasion.

Letizia has worn the earrings a fair few times since becoming Queen, both with and without the pendant drops.

Leonor's soft earrings are from brand Gold&Roses. They are made from white gold and precious stones. The blue stone is tanzanite.

They look very delicate but a are a beautiful pair of earrings.

These are pretty but a little too delicate for this event. I would have preferred a repeat of her mothers Bulgari aquamarine earrings or her mothers red/green stone Tous earrings.

It was very delicate and would have wanted for her to wear other earrings. However, it was just fit for the event.
