Hmm, an interesting choice for him. While he is wearing a bowtie and patent shoes, I am not quite sure about his trousers being quite black tie. However, his "Black Tie" jacket is velvet and beautifully cut, adorned and fitted.

Daniel looking very good this evening at his midnight blue black tie, at YPO's 35th anniversary celebration at Confidencen (Ulriksdal Palace Theatre).

Ah, Daniel is one of the few that can make wearing a double-breasted jacket look good whether it be "Black Tie" or with an ordinary suit.

I think the trousers are fine. They jacket is probably velvet, which is why the trousers are appearing to be different.

I have to admit William's sartorial splendour at the Top Gun: Maverick premier totally tickled my fancy. His velvet dinner jacket was a thing of beauty in both cut and colour and the motif on his matching velvet slippers a hint of a wicked sense of humour.

Here we have a good example of what difference details do.
Notice the handkerchief.
It's all in the details. It adds just that little extra piff!

Here we see two problems.
The sleeves. The sleeves on the suit are either too short or the shirt sleeves too long. - Whatever. One can tuck down on one's sleeves. Yes, one can! :ermm:
He is also displaying a problem that is common for middle aged men: Suits no longer fits well over the shoulders after a certain age. Not so much because the shoulders are too broad, but because the back so to speak does a Quasimodo. Your neck and shoulders begin to become more bull-like.
If your arms are either too long or too short, the result becomes like we see here in the photo with Prince Murat.
- I happen to be extremely familiar with a gentleman who has the same problem. ;)

Frederik so stylish in this Monday morning, at the conference at Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership

Frederik in his high school teacher attire.
In contrast to real high school teachers, who by contract are required to look sloppy no matter what, Frederik can allow himself to look sharp. Nice tie.

Edo knows how to dress well and not cross over the line into a dandy. He is a very elegant and well bred guy.

A credit to the BRF.

I believe he is wearing brown suede shoes…
Yes indeed, he is not only wearing brown suede loafers but blue socks as well. This is not a gentleman's style faux pas and if you look carefully, you will see his pocket kerchief/flash is white brown and navy blue and that is not a faux pas either. Buttoning the bottom button of a double-breasted suit jacket however is!

:previous: Well, it sure is an improvement of the other attires he has worn and which I have told my psychologist about.
