:previous: We definitely have to get my grandfather the shoemaker to make several pairs of shoes for Crown Prince Haakon!

Crown Prince Haakon visited Katapult Ocean today!!

My favorite shoes are back!!!!!!!!

I hate him so much *cries*

The jacket is corduroy. It doesn't fit (note, AGAIN, the straining button.) His tie is crooked. The pants are just bleh. And the shoes. The fad;klfjapeurikajdfkjaopidrjeiajfdka jfd :bang: shoes.

I blame Mette-Marit, actually. She allows him to leave the house like this. I get that she's sick or whatever, but the very least she could do is raise up from the bed, say, "Change your bloody shoes, Haakon; you're embarrassing all of us," and then go back to resting.

I have enjoyed Charles wardrobe during the Carribean tour. So many different suits for Charles, the ties are an absolute buffet of colours and designs and the photos have been wonderful. So I will give you one of my favourites:

St Kitts and Nevis:

Granada:

Interesting weave on the grey suit (brown shoes allowed for planting trees and a romantic walk on the gorgeous golden sand).

Barbadoes"

And, if you are going to wear brown shoes then this gorgeous double-breasted latte coloured suit is the ideal ensemble

Cuba:

Plain grey double-breasted suit with cuffs,

https://previews.rexfeatures.com/pr...260c8affe15dfd4c45f571dd8b0e56f6b184f55e23d24

The man is a walking advertisement for fashion and flair for gentlemen (not flamboyant nitwits). The subtle stripes and almost tartan effects in his grey suits, the cuffs, the wonderful array of ties, kerchiefs, cufflinks, pale pastel shirts with white collar and cuffs . . . . William and Harry, you should feel ashamed. Eclipsed by a man in his 70's! The only thing missing was his signature buttonaire and I guess that isn't to easy to organise for a tour

And the Charles and Peter photo was just for fun.

To say his sons are boring and lack sartorial flair is to understate the case.

Yes indeed his name is Peter. Why, does he look like more of a Jeffrey? ?

Couple of thoughts:

1. Perhaps he should have bought his step-son and step-son's girlfriend a cheaper house, so that he'd have money left over for a new pair of shoes and a new suit.

2. The pants are too short.

3. The shoes are gross.

4. Thought 1 was a joke, but I'm really starting to believe that he only has two suits (this and the dark blue) and two pairs of shoes (this nasty one and his black ones)

No arguement from me.
Re the first photo. The man in the blue suit - his trousers look too skinny to me. The best dressed man in the photo is the guy or aide in Uniform. A man in uniform always looks smart. Any uniform. Jmo.

What's the saying: The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away?

Giveth:https://www.kongehuset.no/aim/konge...e3a65ca899de0cde5.jpg/Scale?geometry=920x943> A different pair of brown shoes! It's a Tonganian (?) miracle!

Taketh away: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D3mo3gnU0AAP6s1?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 Are the short pant legs just because he was sitting? Shouldn't someone have told him to fix it before he got off the plane? It's a minor quibble, but it's the second short leg in a week!

Giveth: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D3nMXLfUYAAyMyz?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 OMIGOD! Is that a patterned shirt? And not that ugly blue suit? Are the buttons not straining to keep close? I could cry! Thank you, Fiji!

I like that last look.

He certainly wears it with a certain style along with considerable hunkablity.

As it is, even a skirt made from palm-leaves is an improvement.

You rarely go wrong with traditional outfits - unless they involve showing off male knees... ;)

The four sons of the King Rama give their wishes for the coronation of their father:

A new lemon Chrysanthemum called Archie Harrison has been cultivated.
A bright choice to watch out for in royal buttonholes.

Nice ties!

Who says business-ties should be boring?
