I don't really admire the skirt, it looks like upholstery. A more subdued print would be more elegant, imo.

It was a nice look on the Crown Princess and a lovely neat hairstyle too.

I like this very much. The necklace is beautiful!

CPV looks fabulous in here pink gown and green jewels. The skirt, blouse and necklace look great also her hair.

Crown Princess Victoria looked lovely at the Baltic Sea Festival's concert today, August 31, wearing her Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini skirt again:

:previous: I have to admit I liked her first outing in this skirt. It was fresh, vibrant and quintessentially "Victoria", and the pairing of the blue top and coordinating shoes was very elegant.

This latest outing is "meh" at best, at worst it is frumpy. The addition of the long-sleeved blouse creates a very matronly look and the best place for it is the bin.

I love that beautiful outfit, especially the skirt.

I like the skirt but the white shirt does look matronly. I think it will look great with the black off shoulder top she wore on 23/8.

Great dress on her though I would take off the uglywhite buttons

Victoria looks absolutely stunning this evening at the King's Jubilee, Royal Opera's performance at Drottningholm Palace Theatre.
Gorgeous colour, simple and elegant.

It reminds this dress which Victoria had at the Dutch state visit last year.

Love it! Indeed remind me the one she wore in the Dutch state visit which looks magnificent on her too.

Does Crown Princess Victoria ever wear her hair down and not pinned up? I am just wondering because I have never seen a picture of her with it like that.

She does occasionally, like for her tenth wedding anniversary portraits and certain awards. It's too bad because she looks very nice with it down and it seems more flattering that way. But she prefers the more serious and businesslike image from keeping it up. Searching "crown princess victoria hair down" will get you a few more pictures.

Best dress of the evening for me (closely follpwed by Sofia)?

Bright colours suits both Victoria and Sofia so well

Great look for Victoria. It is a difficult colour to wear, but I think the Princess just knocked it out of the park!

The colour was really lovely on the Crown Princess but I wasn't crazy about the floral design on the shoulder.

The dress was designed by Christer Lindarw. The flowers and feathers were created by Tim Mårtenson. The gown was sewn by Thalia Atelier in Stockholm.

This is easily my favorite gown this evening. The color is beautiful on Victoria! Her earrings are perfect.

I once had a conversation with an Argentinian friend of mine about Victoria with her hair down, a tan, and giant earrings, where I said "can you believe she's only 1/4 Brazilian? And she's going to be queen of... Sweden. [It's like they picked the furthest country]." :flowers: My friend said "No, she looks completely Brazilian."

I think Victoria's heritage really shines through beautifully in letting her wear tropical colors, like last night and on other occasions.

I love the way the tiara fits in with color gradient

I don’t like it. The way it is cut with all that material makes her look large. Maybe better pix to come

Its a nice dress but I miss a necklace, like the Processional necklace or debut the Leuchtenberg necklace.

I agree she is missing a necklace for this particular neckline. Maybe she is taking a cue from Queen Letizia's style.

I want to see it from more angles, and I'm not 1000% sure the silhouette is the best for her, but the gradient is wonderful and she's just radiant.

As far as no necklace goes, perhaps Victoria is just following that cardinal dictate of fashion: "Look in the mirror; take one thing off". Between (giant, poofy, princessy) dress, tiara, orders, jewels for order, and CPV's beaming smile, I'm not feeling the lack of a necklace.

I wonder if it would work for months where there's actually snow?
