On December 20, 2012, Prince Albert attended the launching of the event Only Watch 2013 in Geneva, Switzerland. Only Watch is a major international charity project sponsored by the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies (Monegasque Association against Myopathies). Introduced in 2005, this biennial event is staged in Monaco.

On December 15 Prince Albert attended the Monte Carlo Christmas ball at the Hôtel de Paris in Monaco. The event raised 40000 Euro for Monaco Aide et Présence (MAP) that helps impoverished communities all over the world.

On January 16 Prince Albert attended the launch of the S.P.E.E.D Unit initiative in Monaco. The Global Underwater Awareness Association (GUWAA) launched the initiative as part of the broader GUWAA project "Clean waters for greener world".

On January 18 Prince Albert visited the new premises of Monaco's National Centre for Crisis Management, now located in the building of the National Council.

Yesterday, January 21, Prince Albert was present at the presentation of the first European Liquid Galaxy installation at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco. Liquid Galaxy provides an immersive Google Earth experience with seven screens arranged in a circle. Albert also attended the screening of the film 'Okeanos'.

Yesterday afternoon, January 26, Prince Albert watched the soccer match AS Monaco vs EA Guingamp at the Stade Louis II in Monaco. It went 2:2.

Prince Albert is in Belgium for two days. Today, January 30, he participated in the conference "To a sustainable society" at the catholic university UCL in Louvain-La-Neuve and attended a dinner in Namur. Tomorrow Albert - together with Crown Prince Philippe - will attend the first Interdisciplinary Congress on Sustainable Development in Namur.
