Finnish MTV3 quotes the article in today's Expressen:
Prince Daniel of Sweden to start a new tradition of swedish royal history.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel received the first-born Estelle last February, and since then, Victoria has been on maternity leave. Now it is Daniel's turn to spend quality time with his daughter. Prince Daniel again breaks the traditions and makes history by being the first royal to be on a paternity leave. Previously, Daniel has surprised people by holding a press conference on the birth of a little princess.
King Carl Gustaf didn't have a paternity leave after Victoria's birth, nor when Carl Philip and Madeleine were born. Prince Daniel will start a new tradition by spending paternity leave, Expressen writes.
- The Crown Princess and the Prince will soon change roles. The Prince is planning to be on a paternity leave, Bertil Ternert tells Expressen.
How long Daniel will be a paternity leave, is not yet known.
- The length of the leave has not yet been decided, it will be clear with time. Daniel, however, will be full-time with princesss Estelle, continues Ternert.

Bertil Ternert has again spoken about Daniel's paternity leave, on 8th September to Gefle Dagbladet:
Bertil Ternert confirms that prince Daniel is thinking about replacing Victoria at the care of Estelle and to be on a paternity leave.
- That is what he wants to do, like the most fathers, says Ternert.
He can't answer to how long this leave will be and when does it start.
Will the Crown Princess also be off slightly during that time?
- She plans deliberately so that she is close to Princess Estelle, they want to be together a lot nowadays
But they are not planning a parental leave together?
- No, not for now.
The rest of the article is speculating what Daniel could do with Estelle in Ockelbo on his paternity leave.

I think it's awesome that Daniel wants to spend some time taking care of his daughter alone. But Terner should absolutely stop babbling about it. First, he does not know anything other then Daniel's (and Victoria's) intention. Second by simple look in the royal calendar it's clear that this is not something that will happen within the next month or so. There is no point in repeating the same "non-information" over and over again, it does not help anyone.

I agree with you completely. I don't see the point in Ternert telling about the paternity leave already at the end of August, if Daniel starts it sometime in October or November.
Does Ternert want by talking about Daniel's paternity leave to move the focus of the press away from Carl Philip's battle in Cannes?

She looks absolutely lovely in that photo. She looks content and so calm. Life must be wonderful for her and she must be truly happy.

Swedish travel agency Ticket made a poll:
Who would you rather travel abroad with?
A beauty, a royalty or a celebrity?
There is a person who combines all.
At the first place came - somewhat unexpectedly - Crown Princess Victoria.
Another dark beauty - singer Laleh - is the second most popular.

I am not surprised either, then again I personally think Royalty would be hands down more interesting to travel with. Well I guess it depends on the Royal but Victoria would probably a very fun person to interact with.

I am not surprised at all about Crown Princess Victoria. She is immensely popular and respected in Sweden, even more so now after marrying Prince Daniel.

Finnish Iltalehti has an article of the closest people to Victoria, besides her family of course. The article quotes the story in Svensk Damtidning a couple of weeks ago.
Victoria chose the 66-year old Elisabeth Zimmermann as Estelle’s nanny. Elisabeth took care of Victoria and Madeleine, and Victoria felt safe with Elisabeth. Nowadays they are also friends.
The crown princess household is headed by the Surveyor of the Court, 30-year old Karolin Johansson, who is the newest addition at the closest circle. She takes care of Victoria’s and Daniel’s schedules and follows them often at their trips.
Victoria’s secretary is 56-year old Susanne Franchell. Victoria’s stylist is 52-year old Tina Törnqvist.
Most of Victoria’s friends are those from the school times: Leonie Persson, Caroline Nilsson, Andrea Engsäll, Caroline Dinkelspiel, Anna Jussil Broms, Sofia Högberg, Sophie Josefsson, Rebecka Wiiburg, Josephine Génetay, Louise Lindh and Martina Liska. One of Victoria’s friends is the Ceo of H&M, Karl-Johan Persson.
Internationally known hairdress Peter Andersson takes care of Victoria’s festive hairdos.

Prince Daniel and several others have invested millions in a luxurious hotel and villa complex in Brazil.
After four years of waiting, the project has now been approved by the local authorities, according to Dagens Industri.
- There is a building permit now, Alessandro Catenacci, who began at venture, told to the newspaper.
The luxurious complex, which will house hotels and villas, in the Brazilian Atlantic coast should have begun in 2008, but was delayed considerably by the Brazilian bureaucracy.
Among the partners are several well known people, Prince Daniel, H & M's CEO Karl-Johan Persson and ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus, all invested millions. Star chef Alessandro Catenacci, which owns Operakällaren in Stockholm, was the one that began at the project.

Since Daniel is still in the project, I think that he has the approval from the king. When Daniel went to the business, the swedish press wrote that the king and the queen were very pleased with it. He resigned from the board of this project before the wedding.
Daniel owns seven percent of the shares, he got over 90 000 euros as dividend in February 2010.

Dagens Industri's (a more serious business newspaper) article about the same thing:
Brasil Development, which is partly owned by Prince Daniel has got it's long-awaited permission to build. Local plan is approved.
Alessandro Catenacci says that they have changed their plans, there will not be a golf course built to the area.
- It does not really fit into the concept. We want something more earthy and rustic.
Catenacci and the share holders will not themselves build the planned luxury villas. Instead they cut plots and buyers will be responsible for building their houses. According to the latest annual report, it may be up to 130 homes. However, there are plans to build hotels there.

Photo of Victoria and Daniel, taken by photographer Mattias Edwall at the same time than those at the court website published official photos. A warm and natural photo:

I wonder why they didn't publish that one, since IMO it is much better than the one of V and D they published:
