Pity that there are now HQ photos of Princess Astrid, it would have been nice to have a closer look at the brooch. I wonder if it's an heirloom from her late mother-in-law.

I was wondering why Princess Astrid doesn't set the emeralds in this impressive necklace into a tiara to expand her options at state events.

I can't recall seeing Princess Astrid,Archduchess of Austria-Este at a recent State Visit Gala in sometime!

To me she doesn't seems to interested in Jewels.. And why don't know how long her husband owns it. Perhaps it belonged to her mother-in-law until her death and she only loaned it to Astrid all the time.

Princesss Astrid owns now one of the two Savoy tiaras

The emerald necklace is not hers. Not seen since Archduchess Margerita passed away.

For the State Visits in Belgium, only the King and the Queen , Astrid and Laurent stay home.
No Scandinavian Royal Weddings with tiaras for a long time .
Princess Asrid is not seen with tiara and grand jewels anymore . Same for Princess Claire.
I don't know which event in 2023 but the Princess is not smiling at all !

The Event in 2023 was the Statre Visit from the Netherlands. So she attends State Banquets but not always.

First time we saw the Brooch , I think it is part of the Belt..?
She wears these earrings since years , I don't know much about its Origin.
I saw another pair of earrings at Queen Fabiola's Funerals.

It was never in the Belgian Main line and belongs to the jewels of the Archducal House of Austria-Este , since the death of Astrid's mother in law (Margherita of Savoy, Archduchess of Austria-Este) in 2022 I assume the family jewels are now with Lorenz and Asrid.

Archduke Lorenz is owner of one tiara .
Since Archduchess Margherita passed away , the second tiara and necklace are in the Habsbourg Este family. We have to wait and see at a Royal Glitering Event to come ?

Since the death of Astrid's mother in law (Margherita of Savoy, Archduchess of Austria-Este) in 2022 I assume the family jewels are now with Lorenz and Asrid.

I imagine not all of them, as Lorenz has four sibilings. I imagine his older sister Beatrix (who has 6 daughters, among whom the Princess Napoléon) will have inherited some jewels from her mother

I think the smaller of her diamond tiaras (the one with 2 rows) could be with Archduke Martin as his wife wore it at prussian Wedding Ball in 2011
