Back to school for Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella today, September 11 - two lovely photos have been shared by the Palace:

Princess Charlene talked about the first day back at school during an interview with Monaco Matin today:

For this back-to-school morning, Jacques and Gabriella were both very excited to see their friends again after such a long vacation. It's also the first time that they won't be in the same class. It's a big step for them, and that seems good to me. Then, like for any student on the first day of school, they had a lot of expectations : on the new classmates, on the teachers, on what they were going to wear for this first day

Not always, some twins suffer from serious separation anxiety. Jacques and Gabriella seem to be just fine though.

I was about to say that. If twins are moving to a new school, are very young (i.e. reception or at kindergarden), or suffer from severe separation anxiety, then they usually make sure they are in the same class. Else, the standard practice is to separate them - especially in primary/elementary school. I am a twin, and throughout primary school, my twin and I were separated. It is a very good thing to do - people tend to forget that twins, albeit fraternal or identical, are two distinct people with two different personalities. I still get people "shocked" when they see how very very very very different I am to my twin! And we're in our early 40's!

Lovely pics and a brilliant initiative. But I have to smile because there is very little litter in the Principality - even in tourist areas on the Rock or Casino Square. So many police and close circuit cameras! Apart from cigarette ends, I imagine some litter must have been planted for the kids and their father to collect.

Jazmin is clearly trying to make a point here, how well it will be received by Albert and Charlene is up for debate. Of course she is the half sister of the royal twins but day to day I would guess that Jacques and Gabriella view their family unit as being their mother and father and each other. I don't imagine that as 9 year olds they see an almost 30 year old woman as a sister in any meaningful sense. Albert has to be commended in embracing his other children the way he has but I can totally get why other high profile men in his position have not done so when you see how Jazmin and Alexandre behave. It goes from being acknowledged to then demanding an official public role which Albert clearly does not want to entertain and I can see where he is coming from.

Unfortunately I think it has already begun. I'm glad that Albert cares for all of his children but the demands from them are increasing all the time by the looks of things.

The picture of the twins that Jazmin posted, is very old one. I recognize Gabriella short haircut she did herself in August 2021, when Charlene was sick in SA, and Albert took twins to see her. Charlene posted twins pictures in SA back in 2021 on her Instagram page and explained the story of haircut. I also recognize Jazmin outfit, back in 2021 I saw Tatler showing Jazmin Instagram where about the same time she was posing on the front of the plane with Albert, August 2021 . So, it's an old story.
I agree with the posters who say Jazmin and Alexandre push more and more. My opinion is that based on the twins behavior in those pics that they saw older kids first and maybe second time in their lives, because they look quite shy and overwhelmed. We need to remember that it was probably one of the worst points in Alberts recent life when his wife was so far away for so long and my opinion is he could be pushed by Jazmin to things he would normally not do. Again, it is just my opinion, of course.
Honestly, I like Jazmin less and less. Albert and Charlene, better keep tight and watch out. I feel sorry for Charlene especially, she went through so much recently.
