The dog on the first pic Ianna posted is called Vany.
Stephanie and her kids decided to be a host family for Vany until she was perfectly trained to help a blind person in life....so Vany is a very special dog...

Princess Caroline of Monaco issued lost dog notice for their beloved family labrador called "Jaffart"..The fear was that dog was "dognapped" on purpose..Does anybody know if this story has happy end? I hope it does..

Labrador Retrievers are the BEST family pets (I have 2), so it's understandable why someone would want to take theirs (if true). They LOVE children, other pets/dogs, love the water, love to play and retrieve, love to be with you always - such patient, loyal dogs, which is why so many families own one. I hope, too, that nothing evil happened to their dog....out of spite, or for money. Hopefully, it was just a rumor, and the dog lived a happy life with them, unharmed.

I think they had all sorts of animals earlier. The palace has a zoo. But I've never seen a picture with a cat. There were also numerous birds in the palace. In one of the threads (Princess Stephanie when she was younger), you can see a pic of Stephanie showing her doll the birds (so sweet).

Never seen that pic of Princess Charlotte with a dog! Lovely shot! I think she had a lot of dogs in the Marchais estate. It was said that her dogs bit anyone who got near her.

Not to get off-topic, but does Antoinette or anyone LIVE in the Marchais estate or do various Grimaldis just visit it occasionally when they're near Paris?
