No, the Chancellor doesn't go on either Official Visits nor State Visits.
The German head of State goes on this kind of visits; so President Horst Köhler (whose function could be compared to the one of a King. (well he even lives in a castle :D) He's representing Germany). The president will go on this visit with his wife Eva Luise Köhler.

The relation to Germany is very good. Koehler's predecessor, the late Johannes Rau, was almost a personal friend (here at a state visit in 2002)

He was also guest at F & L pre- wedding gala dinner and wedding.

I think he lives there not really. It is his office and where all official receptions take place. There is a flat somewhere in Berlin.
The last presidental Couple who actualla lived at Bellevue where Roman and Christiane Herzog.
 
Ok that's true. Maybe we should say Bellevue is the President's "residence for representative purpose". ;)
 
Oh they use the presence of a flag to say the presence just like british!

The pics of Letizia last night are weird. It feels like she was not feeling good! she looks very tired! I have the impression she cried just before this dinner or maybe the quality of the pics is bad and that's why I have this feeling

Exact!, the Princes of Asturias have one of the most full agendas among all the royals.​
 
well i must say that they impress me with the work they do , well i think in the past 3 years the never go in holiday like the others royals : ex mary frederik ( miami , verbier ) prince of orange ( argentina , africa ) , i think they live as normal as they can and i respect them for that
 
Didn't the whole family (Infantas included) used to go skiing in the Pyrennes mountains
in the winter?

I think it has to do with the colors of the eyeshadow, pinkish, looked weird.

That skirt that Laetizia is wearing! I would wear that skirt. I would kill for that skirt!!!
 
I love the skirt of Letizia during the dinner with the President of Germany. I think the shoes were exactly the ones she wore during Charles' birthday dinner.
 
My God, what does happen to Letizia? she looks completely tired, I'm afraid she's not very well.
