Pet0852 4 0486 King Abdullah: We are going Ahead with Moderation and Development Plan Amman/Aug.30(Petra)-- His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday said "we are forging ahead with moderation and development plan and its impossible for us to quit the reform process, calling for placing the citizens' problems and concerns and ways of addressing them on the top priorities of the government". "The reform process that we started long time ago needs cooperated efforts to succeed and achieve positive goals that can be perceived by citizens on the ground, and should be positively reflected on the national economy process", King Abdullah said during a meeting attended by Premier Adnan Badran, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of. Staff, directors general of Security and Intelligence, Royal Court Chief, and King's Advisor on Security Affairs and Director of National Security. King affirmed that citizens aspire to see their provinces developed and to provide them with essential services, reiterating that the government has to give this issue top priority. The King added that we are in Jordan moving on the right track and we will take all possible measures to face challenges and obstacles that impeded the development process. King Abdullah affirmed that the improvement of the economic situation and attracting investments to Jordan associated to maintaining security and strengthening the internal front to thwart any attempt which tries to destabilize Jordan's security, which is deemed to be mainstay for stability of the region. King Abdullah praised the security forces' efforts on detecting the Aqaba's crime , expressing his pride on citizens awareness in handling with such terror attack. For his part, Premier Badran reviewed his government's plan and programs that are implemented by the government during the upcoming phase that aims to enhance the comprehensive reform process in Jordan. And they are trying to arrange for Husni Mubarak (president of Egypt) to go in november :confused: (that's as far as I understood,am i right?)
 
This is where his grand-father King Abdullah I was assassinated:(, in Jerusalem. But I am assuming there will be a tight security. But I am sure that it's not a wise idea for King Abdullah & Husni Mubarak to be there, They are not liked by the palestinians at all. Any way, Let's hope for the best.:eek:
 
King Abdullah I was King Abdullah II's great-grandfather. Hopefully the name coincidence isn't a prophetic one! Do the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank not like Abdullah? You can pm me on that one. ;)

I think it would be excellent if Abdullah were to visit Jerusalem, whether people like it or not Israel is a sovereign nation and that's not likely to change.

I don't know exactely,but it's something Arabs in general and muslims say,so that God will bring the best and prevent any harm...I think some other members who are better than me in english can translate...
