The Royal Family Order (RFO) and other Royal Orders and Decorations 2: Sep 2022-

I would describe it as almost unfortunate. Yes, sure they aren't working royals but blood princesses don't even get the RFO (and mind you Prince Michael has a GCVO and he was part time, which shows that certain service produces acknowledgement). I just personally question the judgement of that...

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie's Fashion and Style Part 13: June 2022 -

I mean, I think there's higher criticism for Beatrice and Eugenie's daily style because we see them more outside regularly. It's a bit of an unequal comparison when Sophie and Kate are pictured out once in a blue moon.

Second son for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank -Ernest George Ronnie; May 30

There was an announcement from the Palace, they did a press release right before Eugenie's Instagram post was up.

British Royal Family Current Events 11: Sep 2022 -

Yes, Prince Michael can definitely be described as collateral, and along with what you are saying he no longer can really appear on the balcony most likely. I've been waiting to speak on their position until I had evidence but I also think Beatrice and Eugenie have been caught on the middle by...

Princess Alexia and Princess Ariane, News and Events Part 1 (Jan 2022 - present)

Graduating from a UWC myself a couple of years ago, it's quite interesting to see the novelty surrounding this successive crop of royals attending the schools. And as for other queries about Ariane attending Adriatic, she'll definitely be fine not speaking Italian. The great majority of classes...

The Future of the British Monarchy 2: Sep 2022 -

Yeah I feel like if you replaced the the Dukes/Duchess of Gloucester and Kent with the Chattos, Snowdons, Andrew and the Sussexes, that could be a doable list considering the current trends found in the family

British Royal Family Current Events 11: Sep 2022 -

But where was did the expectation that all four of the Wessexes and Yorks would become working royals come from? The precedent that was set by the previous generation was that only the eldest child would take on royal duties. Princess Alexandra was an outlier due to the number of young working...

The Royal Family Order (RFO) and other Royal Orders and Decorations 2: Sep 2022-

Unless they attend a state banquet sometime in the future or some formal event, it's a bummer we may never know if Beatrice and Eugenie received the Queen's RFO. I had been banking on the coronation to showcase that but it was not to be. And we do not know the Queen's view of getting it when it...

The Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, 6 May 2023

Seems like some people like jumping to conclusions when/if they have an agenda. I find situations like this especially funny when the involved have not outright displayed the character or done the actions they have been accused of beforehand.

    Order of Precedence 2: Sep 2022 -

I've fully realized recently that rules for precedence and other forms of protocol like attendance are never really hard and fast. If the situation calls for going by line of succession, fine. If the King wants it by blood royal status, sure. Which can be quite intriguing, especially placement...

The Coronation: Guest Arrivals, Guest List, Rehearsal and Receptions, 5 May 2023

Yeah seemed like an event catered towards the extended family entertaining some foreign royals. The York's and Edinburghs were there along with the Princess Royal, Tindalls, Chattos and Michaels of Kent

Charles III: Coronation Information and Musings - Part 2

Only about 4-5 ladies would need one though based on the vaults of the cadet branches. The York Princesses, the Countess of St. Andrews, Lady Fredrick and maybe Lady Margarita though that would be unlikely as she's unmarried. This is if the rumor that the Kent and Gloucester grandchildren are...

Charles III: Coronation Information and Musings - Part 2

This hardline split has honestly gotten on my nerves at this point, and the basic reasonings like optics aren't gonna cut it. At that point what's the reason for inviting non working royals. Like quite honestly, a tiara has nothing to do with designating being a working royal. If you don't want...

Queen Mary, consort of George V (1867-1953)

This is slightly unrelated but realizing how close they were in age, does anyone know how close Prince Michael and Prince William were, if at all?

Charles III: Coronation Information and Musings - Part 1

Beatrice and Eugenie always getting caught in the crossfire huh, must be an interesting place to be in.

    Titles of the Edinburgh Children

But a hereditary title is still in place regardless, that doesn't make any sense IMO. Sure you can attempt to set a precedent, but regardless a peerage will be passed on, so what's the point?

    Edinburgh and Wessex Titles

I'm sorry I'm a bit confused why people think that James holding the DoE title has anything to do with slimming down the monarchy or would create a change in his status. If he were to become the Duke, that doesn't mean he'd start using HRH Prince, it would just be another title after the two he...

Charles III: Coronation Information and Musings - Part 1

Do you still think there will be a procession of the princes and princesses of the blood royal, and would that just happen in cars then? I'm really interested to see what changes will occur with this coronation.

Andrew's future outside of the working BRF

I was thinking about this, if Andrew were to remarry Sarah, would his reputation be improved a bit, even by the slightest measure? Someone who has accusations against him then settling down again in a healthy relationship, I don't know, just a thought.

State Funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II: 19 September 2022

It seems like they went to the back so they could curtsey to the coffin as it was leaving. They also got in the procession of cars which is an interesting shift from them arriving in the buses earlier on.

Titles and Styles of the Sussex Family 1

I don't want to speak on this topic until whatever announcement or message comes from the Palace itself is released, but I do think that whatever happens, it will leave some surprised. The route the King will take is definitely not clearcut or obvious at the moment.

Death of Queen Elizabeth II - Lying-in-State, Edinburgh and London

Exactly, I think this is more of what I meant. Especially for Beatrice and Eugenie, who were afforded a semi elevated status in the past imo, Charles may see fit to totally phase them out. It's just nice to see them all as "the grandchildren".

Death of Queen Elizabeth II - Lying-in-State, Edinburgh and London

I thought it was important to note that the vigil tomorrow is likely the last time the grandchildren will all do something on an equal footing. Their relatively similar ranking as grandchildren of the monarch has passed and we shall see what lies ahead under Charles' reign.

Aren't The Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex, TRH The Princes William and Harry now?

Death of HM Queen Elizabeth II: 8 September 2022

I may just be reading into it too much, but I saw this tweet from the Royal Family account and I thought it was interesting. I have never seen them use the 'Queen's family' like that before. I wonder if we are going to see new guidelines about who is in the 'Royal Family/House' and who is just a...
