Crown Princess Mary, Current Events 9: March 2008 - September 2010

Exactly my point. Clothing, outfits, and their style and what they are doing is pretty much what we are all here to look at and comment on. Even better, we like to see the Crown Princesses working for worthy causes. So yes, while commenting on Mary's blisters, (not corns) might be trivial, maybe...

Crown Princess Mary, Current Events 9: March 2008 - September 2010

By trivial I mean that you are commenting on something that isn't even there or necessary for that matter. Or maybe just to stir up negativity?

General News about Frederik, Mary and Family 2: February - November 2008

Fair enough, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But what I do have to sometimes wonder is why people who don't seem to like Mary or what she does or wears, post on her threads. Maybe you should focus more on the Crown Princesses/Royal Families you do like. P.S. There are threads where...

Crown Princess Mary, Current Events 9: March 2008 - September 2010

I reiterate, this is something really trivial to pick on.

Crown Princess Mary, Current Events 9: March 2008 - September 2010

Cancer research is a good thing and everyone there appears to smiling at her. What? Is she not supposed to smile and rather be a sour grape. I personally think that this is something really trivial to pick on.:ermm:

The late Princess Grace Part IV

Hi Duke of Windsor, I did search youtube thanks, I didn't find anything on High Society, but found great wedding footage which I then posted on old, new, royal and blue. Thanks for you help:smile:

The late Princess Grace Part IV

Someone asked me if Grace had learned to speak french before she got married, I wasn't sure, then I remembered in the movie High Society (My favourite) there is a scene where Tracy Lord (Grace) walks into the room and speaks in french to her younger sister Carolyn Lord. Firstly, is she speaking...

Prince Rainier & Grace Kelly: 19 April 1956

I'm not sure if I can post this, but I found these video clips yesterday on youtube originally broadcast by the British Pathe, where they filmed from when Princess Grace boarded the ship bound for Monaco, to the wedding. We found it very interesting! I looked, but it doesn't seem like the links...

Christening of Princess Isabella: July 1, 2007

I agree with you on the happy family, they are very sweet together. The dress was fine, but I love her hairpiece and I think it was a lovely sentimental gesture to wear it again. It's also very feminine:smile: Isabelle is a sweet name, even better than Charlotte which I initially liked most...

CNN Reports that Will and Kate are back together: June 2007

I personally like Kate and I think they are a well suited match:wub:

    People Who Look Like Royals

I know someone stated previously that Patricia Heaton(From Everybody Loves Raymond) could play Princess Mary. Well I think she is the closest match so far. A bit older and shorter, but still a good match. Here are some images off google, I hope I'm not infringing any copyrights.

A Thread about Frederik and Mary's Marriage

I do tend to agree, I have always thought that out of all the Crown royal couples, that Frederik and Mary (as well as Willem and Maxima), look really in love:wub:

What do you think of Charlene?

I would like to state that in SA we don't have a monarchy, (King Goodwill is king of the Zulus, which is a tribe) we don't even have a large celebraty culture. The European royals are not fussed about here. Our celebrities don't get hounded as others do abroad. Our newspapers are generally...

What do you think of Charlene?

I personally think that there is nothing wrong with Charlene and I'm not saying it just because I'm South African myself. So she doesn't dress wonderfully and she might not be as graceful as everyone would like her to be, but I think everyone should just give her a break. The nasty comments are...

    Best-Looking Royals

To me a beautiful woman is beautiful in all areas; her appearance of course, but also her presence and the impression she leaves behind. So I felt that Princess Grace fitted the discription and still does. The other ladies are lovely too, but she is definitely on top in my books.

Gender, Name and Godparent Speculation for Mary's Second Pregnancy

Well, even if the g is silent in Dagmar, I still don't think it's appropriate. There are many other names that are traditional and sound more gentle and sweeter. The name just sounds a bit hard.

What do you think of Charlene?

Thank you for your nice comments! It's just that, I personally don't have a problem with Charlene and I don't think she can't be a princess just because of where she comes from. I believe that if anyone has the right resources and motivation, they have the potential to be whatever they want...

What do you think of Charlene?

In connection with the article written above about Benoni, I would like to state that being a Benonian myself, that the man who wrote it was purely speaking from his personal perspective. The last time he visited Benoni was 1995 which was twelve years ago and he was in school in the 1970's...

Gender, Name and Godparent Speculation for Mary's Second Pregnancy

I personally think Charlotte, Catherine or Juliana are best suited as first names, considering the names of other Danish relatives. I don't however think Dagmar really fits, but after all, it is only my personal opinion.
