Princess Iman is Engaged
On Wednesday July 6, the Royal Hashemite Court announced the engagement between Princess Iman and Mr. Jamil Alexander Thermiotis.
According to the statement released by the court, the ceremony took place “on Tuesday, in the presence of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, as well as Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, in addition to members of Mr. Thermiotis’ family”.
Princess Iman, eldest daughter of King Abdullah and Queen Rania, was born in Amman on September 27, 1996. In June 2014 the Princess completed her secondary education at the International Academy Amman and then she enrolled at Georgetown University in Washington. Mr. Thermiotis, according to several reports, was born in Venezuela in 1994, is of Greek descent and he currently lives in New York where he works in finance.
For this special occasion the Court released an official photo of the newly engaged couple followed by a second photo shared by Crown Prince Hussein with his sister, Princess Iman, and her fiancé Jameel.
