Charles and Camilla Begin Tour of Singapore

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall kicked off their autumn tour on Monday, as Prince Charles arrived in Singapore.

He was greeted by his wife, who – as she does usually when touring hotter climates – arrived in the region several days earlier, at their hotel before they met with athletes and para-athletes who will be competing for Singapore in next year’s Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

Charles and Camilla also saw the Games’s Baton, which is currently making its way around Singapore on the Queen’s Baton Relay.

The couple’s 11-day tour will also see them visit Malaysia, Brunei and India.
