During her visit, the Princess was able to watch the students perform a play featuring a cast of princesses and court jesters. She also toured the school’s learning facilities, before having a meeting with some of the faculty, where she was able to learn about the school’s current education curriculum.

Princess Margarita was invited to visit the school by the Romanian Director of Education, Mrs Sanda Sava. She is also the patron of the Mark Twain Theatre Festival for Children and Adolescents.

The Mark Twain International School was opened in Bucharest in 1995, by the Macovei Vlasceanu family. The school offers a large number of art and music classes, along with being bilingual in both Romanian and English.
