Victoria Federica de Marichalar y Borbón Celebrates her 11th Birthday

Her Excellency Doña Victoria Federica de Marichalar y Borbón celebrated her 11th bithday on September 9th. Doña Victoria is the only daughter of HRH The Infanta Elena of Spain, Duchess of Lugo and Don Jaime de Marichalar. She was born in Madrid.

She is the eldest granddaughter of Their Majesties King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain, and as such, she is currently sixth in the line of succession. Doña Victoria Federica has an older brother, Don Felipe Juan Froilán de Marichalar y Borbón.

Her Excellency is named in honour of both her maternal great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria Eugenie of Spain, and her maternal great-grandmother, Queen Frederika of Greece (the late mother of Queen Sofia).
