The Dutch Royal family attended a photo session in Lech this morning. The members attending were the Queen, her sons, the Prince of Orange and Princes (Johan-)Friso and Constantijn, her daughters-in-law, Princesses Máxima, Mabel and Laurentien, and her grandchildren, Princesses Amalia, Alexia and Ariane, daughters of the Prince and Princess of Orange, Countesses Luana and Zaria, daughters of Prince Friso and his wife, Mabel, and Countesses Eloise and Leonore and Count Claus-Casimir, the children of Prince Constantijn and his wife, Laurentien.

There was first time to take pictures of the family together, after which they went skiing, of which the photographers were also allowed to take pictures. Click HERE to view a small video of the photo session at the website of the NOS.

This photo session marks the first time that Prince Friso attends with his family. In previous years, it was the Queen with the Crown Princely family or the Queen with the Crown Princely family and Prince Constantijn and family.

Prince Friso gave his rights to the throne and to his title of Prince of the Netherlands up, when he married Mabel. They are Prince and Princess of Orange-Nassau with the style of Royal Highness. Both this couples and Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien’s children are titled Count(ess) of Orange-Nassau, Jonkheer/Jonkvrouw van Amsberg, with the style of Highborn Lord (Hooggeboren Heer) or Highborn Lady. (Hooggeboren Vrouwe)
