Queen Noor: Picture Thread 1

Hi,

I've noticed that lately Queen Noor is wearing an "evil eye" medallion alot, with both evening and day wear.





She doesn't have to wear this because she has other beautiful jewellery options. Does anyone know why she is wearing this medallion alot lately, and its possibly siginificant meaning, giver, whatever?

I have a copy of a magazine published by ALIA, the Royal Jordanian Airline, with one of Noor's first interviews and some wonderful photos. If anyone is interested, I will have my brother in law copy them and post them on this forum. They are in her first years of marriage and the last one is great with baby Hamzah in a white snowjacket on her lap and Haya and Ali on either side......Just let me know. I think I could also publish article in entirety. It's quite good.

QN has (had?) a home in the DC suburbs. I believe her family live in the area, and that's why she bought a house there.

Mary, from what I heard she means to keep her home to herself and her daughters plus Hashim, who's not married , yet- that House has so loving and important remembrances to her, she would never give it to any1, let alone to Ali- I heard some1 arranged a meeting btw Noor and ali, last Spring 2003, in Washington or NY, can't rember where- Ali showed up, they talked a while, but they just came to nothing, I guess they can't ever agree about so many issues such as money , houses etc. and feelings , of course, I'm afraid it's impossible for the 2 of them to forget the past and start it over-

She bought a huge house in NY City, about 4 years ago, she had just sold her House on Potomac.

u'll find QN's ancestors on the Net, her mum's parents , or grandparents, can't remember, came from Sweden, she's Catholic- QN's mum' s ancestors also came from Scotland, England

Who's Shireen SAif al Sadr? never heard of her,I know an actress called Shireen saif al-Nasr,but she's Egyptian and I never heard she was in any way related to QN.

The father for Qeen Noor is Syrian and her mother is swedish. Shreen Saif Al Naser is Egypation and with A syrian mother.

wow i never knew that,i also thought Queen Noor was originally lebanese,i think i read that in her book? anyway Shireen saif Al Nasr is soo beautiful!

She's Jordanian. She gave up her American citizenship when she got married.
