11th of October 1188 : Death of Robert de France,Count of Dreux and Count of Perche
Robert was the 5th son of Louis VI of France and Adélaide de Maurienne and had married 3 times .
Folowing his death his remains were buried at l'Abbaye Saint-Yved de Braine and was succeeded as Count of Dreux by his son Robert.
His tomb and burial survived until 1793 when the abbey which housed the tombs of the Counts off Dreux was ransacked and pillaged.

Claude was named in honour of the French Saint Claude of Besançon who her mother queen Anne had gone on a pilgrimage to his shrine during her pregnancy.

25th of October 1510 : Birth of Renée de France
Renée de France was the second daughter of Louis XII and Anne de Bretagne and was born at the Château de Blois.
In 1515 Renée was forced by king François I to renounce her rights to the Duchy of Brittany and granted her the duchy of Chartres ,Countdom of County of Gisors and the Lordship of Montargis.
Renée de France later embraced Calvinism and but lived quietly and away from the French Court at her Chateau de Montargis.
Despite repeated attempts by Queen Catherine to recant Renée refused and died a Huguenot.

Charles was killed at the Battle of Agincourt fighting for the French and his remains are buried at Vieil-Hesdin.

The future French queen was born on All Souls Day and was baptized Maria Antonia Josepha Johanna.

The last King of France to be crowned died a little over 6 years after the July Revolution of 1830.
His reign of just 6 years was deeply unpopular and the king and royal family left Paris on August 16th for England but later moved to Prague and Illyria at the invitation of the Austrian Emperor.
His remains are still buried at the Crypt of the Kostanjevica Monastery in Slovenia.

Jeanne d'Albret was born at Saint-Germain-en-Laye the daughter and only surviving child of Henri II and Marguerite d'Angoulême.

Anne was the daughter of Ercole II ,Duke of Ferrara and Renée of France (daughter of King Louis XII of France).
Anne's mother Renée de France later became a Huguenot but also fell out with her Huguenot cousin Jeanne d'Albret.
Anne herself remained Catholic and herself was an important figure siding with the Ultra Catholic factions during the French Wars of Religion.

17th of November 1562 : Death of Antoine de Bourbon,King of Navarre and Duke de Vendôme.
Antoine de Bourbon was a French Prince of the Blood and was Head of the Ducal House of Bourbon from 1537. In October 1548 he married Jeanne d'Albret ,they had 2 surviving children the future Henri IV of France and Catherine de Navarre.
Antoine died from wounds he received during the Siege of Rouen (1562) where he was fighting for the Catholic Royalist side.
His remains were buried at the Collégiale Saint-Georges which was the burial site of the Bourbon-Vendôme ducal family.
Sadly it was pillaged and torn down in 1794.

21st of November 1361 : Death of Phillipe I ,duke of Burgundy.
Phillipe I became Duke upon the death of his grandfather in 1349 and was also Count of Auvergne ,Artois and Boulogne .In 1357 he married Marguerite III, Countess of Flanders by whom he had several children.
Following his death his remains were buried at Cîteaux Abbey but his burial was lost in 1793 when the abbey was ransacked during the French Revolution.
