List of Other Royal Biography Authors

He wrote over twenty books about royalty and many have been translated in 11 different languages. Many of his books are available today on kindle, and as a bonus for kindle unlimited members, they are free to read. (Well, "free", minus the kindle unlimited membership fee.)

Here are some of his titles:

A Family of Kings

Heart of a Queen: Queen Victoria's Romantic Attachments
Victoria and Disraeli: The Making of a Romantic Partnership
A King in Love: Edward VII's Mistresses
Prince Eddy and the Homosexual Underworld (Albert Victor, of course)
Crowns in Conflict: The Triumph and the Tragedy of European Monarchy (1910-1918)
Princess Margaret: A Biography (quoted a lot in Sobrinos Reales, about her children)
The Golden Bees: The Story of the Bonapartes
Princess Alice: Countess of Athlone
The Kaisers
The Coburgs of Belgium
Royal Family: Years of Transition
The Royal Family at War
Royal Vendetta: The Crown of Spain (1829-1965)
Kings over the Water: The Saga of the Stuart Pretenders
Napoleon and Josephine: A Love Story
The Fall of the Third Napoleon
Queen Victoria and the Bonapartes
Royal Ambassadors: British royalties in southern Africa 1860-1947

John van der Kiste

This royal biographer (a librarian who lives in Devon and therefore is after my own heart) might be my favorite. (Probably tied with Pimlott and Shawcross, I don't know.)

Some of his titles are:
Queen Victoria's Children
Edward VII's Children
Queen Victoria and the European Empires
The Prussian Princesses
Once a Grand Duchess: Xenia
George V's Children
Dearest Vicky, Darling Fritz
Kaiser Wilhelm II
Northern Crowns: The Kings of Modern Scandinavia
Emperor Francis Joseph
Sons, Servants, and Statesmen
King George II and Queen Caroline
Heroes of the Glorious Revolution: William and Mary
Alfred: Queen Victoria's Second Son
