Pic- Diana at the Royal Gala Premiere Performance of Les Miserables, London, 1985
@ Nata- This pic was part of a set from an earlier post of yours. At the time, I did not have a description, though I knew I had seen this photo with a description in one of my Diana books.
Tonight, by chance I was reading that Diana book, and came across this photo with description, so I thought I'd post it now! Hope that's OK!
Your'e welcome Nata, but now I doubt the description of the 3rd pic is correct! It is different from the one taken at the musical. I am sorry.
Close, nata; the man's Egyptian. That's Hosni Mubarak, the recently deposed president of Egypt. Diana made a solo visit there in 1992. He does have a similar appearance to Dodi, though.

Its interesting looking at this photo 19 years later after everything that has happened to Egypt. I wonder why she visited him, the tour was a charitable one no?
The trip would have been official, and Diana stayed at the British Ambassador's residence. As the Princess of Wales, she still would have been representing the Queen when she made visits. So even though she wouldn't have been personally interested perhaps in meeting with Mr. Mubarak, it would have been the thing to do in terms of protocol and practice.
Even though Diana separated from Prince Charles in late 1992, she was still The Princess of Wales until their divorce during the summer of 1996. She didn't travel as an independent figure in her own right until after the divorce, and so courtesy calls to heads of state would have been made as the Queen's representative. All members of the Royal Family make their official visits and trips as part of helping the Queen in her duties.
1st pic- Launch of the Child Bereavement Trust ( founded by her childhood friend Julia Samuel), of which she became Patron, ( Prince William now is), Royal College of Nursing, London, 1994.
