gfg02,
Thanks for posting those pictures of Diana in the orange jacket.
But I think this is probably one of her absolute worst outfits!
Just my opinion, of course!!!

It was a terrible lack of foresight on her part to snub HRH The Prince of Wales so publicly. This is when we knew the marriage was probably not going to last.
Thank you umbrellagirl for the photos and the accompanying stories.

The outfit that I absolutely did not like was the bobby soxer one with the polka dot anklets and heels. That was a miss for me.

Oh, Squidgy, what cool pictures! The one in the center is one of the best photos of Diana in casual mode that I have ever seen. And the one with her legs stuck straight out in front is so cute.
And you know how much I appreciate your providing an exact date. Your extensive knowledge of Diana's calendar never ceases to amaze.

Thank you Squidgy, too! I have NEVER seen those pictures before so this is awesome.
I have a request from you guys: does anyone have this outfit in color? Or a better photo? http://members3.boardhost.com/Majest...158179133.html
She is at a military event where there are probably horses. Is that close enough to polo????
Thanks in advance!

gfg02, I believe that Diana's last polo game was May 31 1992, and Umbrellagirl has posted some great pictures from that game. (see post #256 - the pics of Diana in the red tshirt & white pants.)
And thanks to Canadiana for the date.

I can't help it! I have to!
APB: Come on, what do you say? We really should teach that husband of yours and my wife a lesson for running off like that.
Diana: Take one more step closer, Andrew. I dare you!

There is one pic in there of Diana and Wills at the Guards Polo Club with the Fayeds in 1988. It's obviously not a "new" find but it never ceases to amaze me to see this. It's eerie to see them to see them so happy and leisurely at polo 9 years before they would all meet again in such different circumstances. I wonder if younger Dodi had a crush on the Princess of Wales back then. He was a Hollywood producer, I think, and dated the Hollywood stars and models of the 80s (Brooke Shields, and I don't remember whoelse) but lots of men in the 80s were fascinated with Diana.
