Monaco70s is right: Caroline and Stefano met in 1983, when Grace had already died.
Sometimes taloids tend to elaborate stories, in fact they also say the Casiraghis are of noble stock, which is not true, because Stefano's father was a primary school teacher and the son of a railwayman before turning into a businessman.

It was at Roland Garros and she was with Stefano. I got this picture from Point de Vue.

Caroline and Stefano cleaning their boat: actually he's the one doing the housework.  When he was living in Milan, his roommates used to say he was very clever at doing the housechores.
