Yes, it's true. There will be extensive coverage, and Channel 7 (which would have been pleased by the wedding broadcast ratings last night) will be leading the way. Not that the other channels will be slouches about it. I expect to see a lot of Harry and Meghan. And Channel 2 will be showing the Invictus Games.

Getting to have lunch with Harry and Meghan when they visit Fraser Island...
Two paramedics, who granted a dying woman her last wish which was posted on Facebook, and were then noticed by the Royal couple when it made the headlines -

That was a very thoughtful thing indeed for the paramedics to do, and I'm sure the dying woman had thoughts of the sea and that beach for whatever time remained to her. I hope they enjoy their lunch.
(Poor old southern Queensland has taken a bit of a battering by storm in the last couple of days and there could well be a cleanup still going on when the tour commences.)

Dubbo is so excited they couldn't wait for the real deal Curryong - see the photo below.
Locals saying they will close their shops anyway, if there is no official holiday in the town.
That picnic is going to be something.

The Duchess of Sussex will have her best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney supporting her as Harry and Meghan embark on their first overseas tour to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand @thesundaytimes #RoyalTourAustralia #HarryandMeghan

Well, we can expect more bad fashion and poorly fitted clothing on Meghan during the tour. Lots of Canadian designers as well, I’m sure. Disappointing.

Ben is working for This Morning covering the tour. I don’t see why it’d be wrong for Jess to hop on a plane to spend sometime with her husband when one of her besties is also in town. Although, with the Sussex schedule, there would be hardly any time for chilling. All the outfits would’ve been planned out ahead of time.

This sounds like the most plausible reason for Jessica to be heading down under. The way its been presented is to make it look like Jessica will be part and parcel of the Sussex entourage.
You're absolutely right on the money too that the outfits for this tour have already been picked out, accessories paired with them and properly packed away for transport by now. Nothing is ever left for the last minute.
This is going to be a whirlwind tour with hardly enough room for Harry and Meghan to catch their breath let alone find time to socialize with their own personal friends but it would be nice to be able to catch a few minutes with them somewhere down the line.
Won't be long now before they land down under. Looking forward here to following this tour.

Is Jessica getting paid for her 'stylist' services? Are her expenses getting covered by KP or the Australian government? The 'optics' of this could potentially start to turn very bad for Harry and Meghan.

She isn't going on the tour. She is going as a plus one with her husband who is covering the the Invictus Games for his job. They made that quite clear when his network announced it. Just so happens they are also close friends and might see each other. KP not paying for anything. Roya also was very clear to point out. This is an "unofficial" connection. They no different than any other press or general member of the public who can buy a ticket. The only difference is we know they know them so the press is creating a non story for clicks.

Thank you for the additional details! Yes...the way the DF presented it, you would think that Jessica and her husband were part of the official entourage! I should have known better!

It looks as though several Australian designers submitted clothing options for Meghan to wear during the trip. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Australian designers she wears. No need to be disappointed when the Sussexes haven't even touched down yet.

Rookie mistake, IMO! Jessica may well be going in a private capacity, but the optics aren't great on this.

How is Jessica any different than other media taking their spouse and children? I get she is a well known friend but so what? She at a public event that you and I can attend with the swipe of a credit card.

They're here!
Oz posters - "Sunrise" showing their arrival.
Eight vehicles in their entourage by the look of it.
Coming up to 6.20 am Monday morning - twenty degrees, no wind, but very heavy, and low grey and threatening, clouds everywhere.
Being reported they will be spending the entire day at Admiralty House.
Channel 7 filming from a helicopter, but also on the ground near the vehicles - still at the airport.
Eddie Bartholemew crossing live from Admiralty House, awaiting them.
An entourage of ten people - including a hairdresser, but being reported Meghan will be doing her own makeup.
